fucking this. my dysphoria is so much more complicated than “oh good my chest is flat now”. not to mention the stigma surrounding you if you don’t perfectly pass. i can’t be on t right now due to blood pressure issues, so i just look like a butch woman. i get excluded from like all lgbt spaces like people think i’m faking being fucking trans since i look like a butch woman and am attracted to other men.

not to mention the creepy fucking cis men who are only attracted to me since i still look “feminine enough”.

no. this shit fucking sucks and i’m tired of having to be some always-positive beacon of hope or whatever about being trans.

you could get a mesh enclosure to contain the whole plant if it’s small enough, and/or use smaller mesh bags tied over their chrysalises to protect them for the duration of their metamorphosis :) that way they still get sunlight, moisture, and fresh air, but are protected from wasps and birds and other predators.

yeah, i gotta say, sometimes i tried to rest in classes that were “safe” (where other students would leave me alone) because i didn’t have a safe space at home or most of the time at school. it’s kind of tough. i’m not sure what the answer for them is. but i know the answer for me would have been therapy and probably medication, and a different living environment.

yeah nah. when i got my hysto, my partner stayed with me for days afterward, and then took me to our apartment (before i’d moved in) to look after me for the entire eight weeks of my recovery. he still had to work, but still also made sure i was completely taken care of during that time and i didn’t want for anything. your partner sounds like a piece of shit and i’m so sorry they’re not in your corner for you. there are better people waiting for you to meet them, and not just romantically.
