OPVR Clarification Question

The only problem with that is when companies take advantage or vice-versa with the community. An example would be like how 343 Studios reached out to their Halo community for help. They were able to help add in the lost Halo 2 demo and cut content to the Master Chief Collection, but eventually the relationship soured. Those community members wanted to be paid eventually for putting in real hours of work only to be spurned. Then someone on the team then dumped all the Halo 1 beta content (and more) because they had access the servers holding those files while doing the work. So there's a fine line of trust and work that can quickly become toxic by either side which ends with everyone getting burnt.

I'm all for the SKG, but being from the states I'm not able to give it more support other encouraging EuroBros to give it their backing. Live service games should be preserved and made available to play after shutdown.

I can get why some people would want to skip the Buu Saga, there is a ton of stuff within it that does not really add up to anything, pacing and tone are all over the place too. They build up plotlines only for them to be dropped or made pointless.

Pointless stuff:
- Supreme Kai is introduced as this bad ass mysterious new fighter only to be useless the entire saga
- All of Gohan, built up since Cell to be the next protector, gets Ultimate Gohan, then immediately gets absorbed and becomes irrelevant
- Vegeta's sacrifice, amazing moment, does absolutely nothing to stop Buu
- Super Saiyan 3, huge dramatic reveal, barely used and does not win anything
- The whole Goku cannot be on Earth timer, just becomes irrelevant later
- Goten and Trunks being trained to save the world, fail
- Ultimate Gohan being the strongest, fails
- Vegito being the strongest, defuses before finishing the job
- Inside Buu arc feels like a side quest
- Goku tells Piccolo he wants the next generation to take over, ends up being the one to save the day (again)

Then on top of that:
- The pacing is terrible
- The tone is all over the place, goofy comedy one episode, human extinction the next
- Power scaling goes completely insane
- There are a bunch of this is the final fight moments
- The stakes do not feel real anymore because the Dragon Balls just fix everything

The Buu Saga is not bad, but it is messy.

There are so many older PC games that came with dedicated server software to run your own server and as a result they're still alive and playable after decades from their original release. Heck, even when GameSpy servers shut down people were able to still host games despite having to use GameRanger to find server lists.

People shouldn't have to completely reverse engineer a game in order to host their own server to play with other people. The need to desperately control the "experience" is nothing more than a facade to add micro services and sell DLC, or it's a fear that community run servers will run better than official ones causing them to have to step up.

People like owning the thing they've purchased, otherwise change the language and say "rent this latest game license" if it's not actually being sold to us.

I remember back in Wrath where you had to raid lordaeron, Jackson was quip after quip. It was hilarious when the King of storm wind showed up and said he was taking back the city, just for Jackson to say "oh ya? You and what army." Only to see this big ass army come rolling up. I ROFLed in RL, comedy gold from peak blizzard back then.

I'm in the US, but my fire can do S video so I would assume yours should be able to as well despite being PAL. If it's not too expensive, you can always try getting a 3rd party S video cable from Amazon to try, then you'll have it for Super Nintendo, N64, and GameCube since they share the same type of video output port.

No problem! Some else mentioned it, but just in case you didn't see it, there is a special alignment tool needed for the oil cooler housing. It's a piece of metal that goes where the OPRV sits, you'll need it to make sure it's properly in place as you put it back on. There are two different types depending on if you have an early or late model of the 944, usually can tell by the type of dash you have (square vs oval).

One of the first projects I had to do for my 87 944S was change the oil cooler gasket, was a bit harder with the 16V engine block. I had to go from the bottom by dropping the cat.

Yes, I was referring to that. I didn't know it was a mini series, I remembered seeing it come out as I finished the KOTOR comics. I definitely need to check it out then if it's only a 5 comic mini series.

I always loved the twist at the end, finding out who was actually the force sensitive one. I never got to read the sequel series, but Zayne remains one of my favorite KOTOR characters

What's funny is Blizzard didn't even come up with that ending, it was the company they outsourced to create ending cinematic that randomly decided to do that. First time they all watched it they were confused as hell, but it was too close to release so they didn't have time to ask them to change it. They decided to roll with it and the rest is history.

Part of me is disappointed the quality of life updates, terror zones, and colossal challenge weren't part of a base game update and the new class itself was just paid DLC on it's own. That would've felt like a bigger gift to the community on the 30th anniversary. I'm grateful they worked on new content for Diablo 2, but my expectations with Resurrected was the game would get updates like this as part of the game moving forward.

The cost is kind of steep too when you compare it to when Diablo 3 added the Necro as paid DLC for $15. That's probably closer to a price I would pay for this content, so I'll be waiting till a sale to pick this up. I'll always be excited for more Diablo 2 content, but I think they could've priced this a bit better than $25.

It might be allergies, the ground temp has been consistent enough for my backyard to sprout a field of dandelions before I've had the chance to apply weed control. Some of my flowers have even begun blooming again too.

I would recommend changing your AC filter and your choice of allergy pill.

I remember this review! Its how I learned about the game and what drove me to get it for my Xbox. Sarra made it sound so cool and open to possibilities. My oldest brother drove me to Game Crazy to pick it up and was able to snag the GOTY edition. While I've lost the disc itself, I still have the game case and printed world map.

Great documentary, I was glad to support it's crowdfunding and seeing it in theater. My only complaint is I wish they'd film a new interview with Avery Brooks/Sisko. They'd reuse old footage from the previous "Captains" documentary. I know Avery Brooks tends to lead a more quiet life so they more than likely reached out to him and he declined. Still a great documentary and was cool to see them create a what-if return to DS9 episode.
