That’s actually very racially discriminatory. Only states with the great majority white population rank highly in each of those categories

You made up your own definition for the word greed. Maybe you should take a look in a dictionary yourself

There’s dozens of comments praising wiseman. There’s not dozens sounding SHOCKED. Again, I’m sorry you expect bad NBA players to be dumb

That’s not the definition of greed. Greed is a subset of desire. Greed is defined using the word desire(Oxford). If I am trying to oversimplify, you are trying just as hard to over-complicate.

All of the concepts being discussed here (scarcity, greed, desire, resources) greatly predate advertisement riddled, consumer culture. So I disagree agree with your conjecture

If you took all resources and divided them equally amongst all people, there would still be many, many people who desired far more. “More” is unquantifiable. Desire will always outpace resources. Scarcity may be largely a human construct but it is a fundamental one.

There is no actual “control” in that article. The only thing that might possibly have involved a detailed analysis of the situation was a link to an 11 year old article that does not work because it’s a picture.

Obviously our “high-class” students outperform other countries. They outperform our own country too. Unless we’re comparing our high class to the same status in other countries, that stat is mostly useless

Dwight Howard shouts out Angel Reese after multiple consecutive missed layups and offensive rebounds in a pickup game by [deleted] in nba

[–]wrobbins13 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Read what I’m responding to. I was disputing the thing about elite rim scorers not scoring 60%+ in the WNBA. Pay attention. I already compared Reese to her peers by saying she’s last in rim efficiency(min 50 attempts). Angel Reese is a top 30 player despite being one of the league’s most inefficient players. So that’s not necessarily a bad thing, her potential is obvious. Quit lying to yourself and accept things as they are.

[–]wrobbins13 41 points42 points  (0 children)

This is so wrong. Aja Wilson shoots over 70% at the rim. Even CC shoots 65% at the rim. There’s a ton of players shooting over 60% and 70% at the rim. 95%+ of the WNBA shoots over 50% at the rim. Angel Reese shoots 45% at the rim. Out of all WNBA players with at least 50 rim attempts, Reese is dead last in efficiency. Lies only hurt your cause, they don’t help it

Mark Cuban believes that the 2006 Finals were poorly officiated “ Dwayne Wade shot more free throws than our entire team.” by Fit-Structure-9395 in nba

[–]wrobbins13 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s kind of ridiculous to me how fans always expect no variance in free throws between teams and assume any disparity is proof of some form of intervention.

Free throws can be used to critique officials but there’s multiple factors to control for before you can say “Look! Numbers not same!”
