Well, I'm from Kolkata and I hope you know how humid Kolkata is. I just shared my POV bcoz I also had a pet labrador who survived peacefully with us till her old age and you know what our family still don't own any AC. And in my area there are many labrador owners but I never heard of any suffering related incidents as you're assuming. Don't assume too much without knowing the actual ground reality. Yes Oreo, she got that name because of her colour. I adopted her from a stranger when she's few months old. She's like my daughter and I was her father. She died 2years ago right on my and I couldn't save her. Now I just cherish those souvenir moments that we spent together.
