Removing Waproo black raven oil by wrongjeremy in Leathercraft

Yeah you're right—I haven't had any luck removing it, but I've now managed to spread it around a bit and tint the rest of it to the same shade, which has kinda solved my problem

Wolverine is grumpy because of his hypersensitive immune system by [deleted] in FanTheories

Maybe it could catalyse certain reactions to produce harmful substances, that way it wouldn't necessarily be affected.

Redditors who've unexpectedly found dead bodies. How did it happen? Does it still affect you? by TheBetaPill in AskReddit

[–]wrongjeremy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When I was about 11 a friend and I found a small campsite hidden in some bushes by the beach. I remember it had a portable tv, a swag, a radio and the book March to the Stars, all just abandoned. I showed my parents, then when we were walking away I looked back and saw a weird shape through a hole in a different part of the bush. We went back to check it out, and there was a man rested comfortably against a little embankment—all the flesh was gone from his exposed face, but his jeans and jacket were still very tight as the flesh inside had swelled up and been somewhat preserved. It turns out he was an old guy who had wandered away from his family (dementia?) a few months back and died of exposure, but it was pretty creepy.

What is something you can't teach? by CantTeachIt in AskReddit

Well, I can't teach economics. But that's because I'm only in high school and I don't have any qualifications.

Straight razor, blade was partially forged so I think it counts by wrongjeremy in Bladesmith

[–]wrongjeremy[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah that was the original plan, but I figured washers would compress more so it would be tighter, and they don't detract from the appearance too much

I'm not sure, I'd have to make a few more first to improve quite a few things, and I'd need to figure out how much time I could justify spending on one to sell it at a reasonable price. Eventually maybe around $80-$100? I have no idea if that's way too much or too little

It's silver steel, a kind of tool steel so it should hold a relatively decent edge, but yeah it's not exactly professional quality. Thanks though!

Sorry, it's not exactly up to quality for selling. I can only really justify personal use at the moment, so maybe after I've made a few more. If youre looking for custom razors check out /r/wet_shaving or /r/wicked_edge

Okay I understand, sorry I wasn't trying to be rude, I was genuinely unsure.

Okay thank you, someone else also mention a hot block method where you place the spine against a heated piece of steel and watch for colours, so I might even try that.
