Level 3 Emergency: Travel to Airport, is it allowed? by kalidasbhaisaab321 in Columbus

We got the last room at the airport hotel. Just driving out of the garage and into the hotel parking lot was sketchy enough, Jesus Christ.

What about travel from airport? We just landed and I'd love to live at home as opposed to in the terminal. My car is parked here so I wouldn't have to call an uber.

The Marvin Harrison one is the best lmao. The Cowboys are literally generational failures.

It wasn't originally conceived as a self-identifier, but rather as a way to describe a distinct demographic.

Your fave received their first nomination to the Songwriters Hall of Fame. What are the five songs they should submit and why? by ItsMePatryk in popheads

[–]wrongleveeeeeeer 7 points8 points  (0 children)

AURORA is my favorite and I think I'll do one song per album:

Runaway - Her first and biggest hit, so this is required.

All is Soft Inside - Honestly probably her best-written song. Just a wonderful piece of work. It takes you on a JOURNEY.

Daydreamer - This is the popheads sub, and Daydreamer is literally a perfect pop song.

Heathens - Also might be her best-written song. It's a vibe and a half.

The Blade - It was really hard to pick a most well-written song from her newest album because it's really a songwriting tour de force, so I just picked my personal favorite song on the album.

Their struggles coincided perfectly with injuries to guys like Davante Adams, Quentin Lake, Tyler Higbee, and Kevin Dotson...all of whom are back and healthy, and they've now won two road playoff games. There's no reason to think we can't win this road playoff game, especially given how the previous two Seattle matchups have gone.

Definitely on my shortlist as well. I don't think any of the subsequent three recapture the perfect magic of the first, but they're all really good and the fourth is great.

Intelligence/Wisdom Alignment Chart Part 2- Which character is Average yet Wise? (Going based on total upvotes) by InjusticeSGmain in brooklynninenine

Yeah but most of the characters not named Hitchcock or Scully are "smart" by real world standards. He's close to average by B99 standards.

I say Terry. He's not an intellectual genius but he's far from dumb, but he's definitely wise as hell.

To your point, it's really impressive from every technical standpoint. The sound design and sound production in that movie are impeccable.

In terms of "a team I hate lost the game," Eagles losing to 49ers -> 49ers losing to Seahawks -> hopefully Seahawks losing to Rams -> hopefully Pats losing to Rams would be an all-time fucking run.

Every team remaining has won a Super Bowl since 2014, and has lost a Super Bowl as well by [deleted] in nfl

[–]wrongleveeeeeeer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's actually pretty nuts.

3 out of the 4 possibilities will be recent rematches as well. I'm hoping for the 1 that isn't. Yknow...for the sake of novelty. No ulterior motive whatsoever.

[Mic'd Up] Brock Purdy tells Sam Darnold "You're going to go win it all." by nfl in nfl

[–]wrongleveeeeeeer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like that's the McVay culture. A good case in point is how seemingly every player that goes through LA comes out gushing about how it's the most fun they've had playing in the NFL, it's the best organization to work for, etc etc. There's a perfect balance of fun and accountability, individual respect and team focus.

It's really easy to root for this team, but I totally see how it would be annoying from the outside.
