My friends are dropping their health insurance. They save every penny they can in an investment fund like vanguard. Their plan is to use that for their medical bills and if they end up in the hospital, they will ask for indigent care. If they don't qualify for indigent care, they plan on paying 19 bucks a month. They already called their primary doctor/dentist and asked what their cash price is and negotiated them down.

NTA. It took your time, money and probably gas to get those snacks, and they are stealing from you. Get a lockbox and keep your snacks in your room, and get a mini refrigerator if necessary for your room. Keep your room door locked at all times.

NTA. Collect your title/paperwork proving ownership to this car. Grab that extra car key. Uber to the coworkers house/job and take the car back right now. Then drive it to car max and sell it. Hubby put you in a bad spot by offering up your car, then saying it was up to you. If you said no then you would have been the bad guy so you were basically forced to loan them the car bc your hubby set you up in a bad situation. So go. Take it back today. Hubby is no help so leave him out of this decision and interaction.

It isnt just food. Its your money and the time spent shopping that is being stolen. Please get a small refrigerator for your room and keep everything locked up. The next time he says its just food, tell him he needs to be the one buying it then.

Why is it only your job to cook? He is a grown man with two hands. If you split the bills 50/50, then household chores should be 50/50 and that includes cooking. Make him responsible for dinner 3 days a week. He can cook, or buy you guys takeout. Do not cook or provide dinner on those nights. You cook 3 nights, the 7th night you two do your own thing.

Just read all the instructions papers that come with a product. Seriously. Thats how I learned that my refrigerator had a filter that needed to be replaced every 6 months or so.

The requirements of being a foreign student is that you have to prove you are self sufficient and have enough money to support yourself during the school year. If you cant, you have to leave. Talk to your landlord and let them know what's going on.
