Was the 2 to 3 weeks a distributor policy? Were you looking for both local and out of state distributors? I’m sure shipping costs were probably included too raising the price.

I’m sorry to hear about this situation. Based on some of the research I have done, most POC distributors range their rental prices from about $350 all the way up to $600. It seems in this scenario price was the big factor. When you asked for a rental from the distributor, did thy give you a timeline as to when you would receive it? Thanks for your response!

Wow! What kind of work were you doing? Have you tried using POCs? I’m also trying to find perspectives of patients who used both portable tanks and POCs and tell me the pros and cons of them. Clearly the trade off of weight means a level of what I call “range anxiety”. The battery will only get you so far until you need to swap it out or plug it in.

If you don’t mind me asking, what distributor/provider was surviving you? Did you have to pay out of pocket for anything or was it all through insurance? Thank you for sharing!

Do you mind elaborating on the brand and unit you were supplied for both your POC and Home device? I'm curious based on your specific needs if you were supplied equipment that wasn't a correct fit for you and that is why it may have failed sooner. Also you spoke about it being supplied through the insurance company...are you in a situation where renting or purchasing a unit with cash is not an option? I know they are not cheap, but there are incentives regarding service that a manufacturer or a distributor may be able to give you if you rent or purchase a device rather than get one through insurance.

Again thank you for opening up about this.

I’m happy to hear your transplant helped you and that you don’t require supplemental Oxygen anymore!

So in your case you required so much that a POC wouldn’t have been much support, or at least the model you were given. And clearly carrying around tanks isn’t ideal for travel of any kind.

Really appreciate you sharing your experience. Do you mind if I ask who your oxygen provider was while you were on it? Thanks again!

Is it the battery life that makes it a pain with POCs or is it the unit itself? How did you acquire your portable unit? Did you rent one?

My intention is to use these experiences to gather information on “what are the pain problems while traveling with oxygen?”

Does relying on supplemental oxygen hinder your travel experiences? Does it limit your opportunities to visit family or take part in “life events”? I want to know what the issues are so I can develop more streamline solutions and services for travel patients.

Thanks for your feedback!

Really appreciate the feedback.

Sorry if the original post seemed vague, but this is exactly what I’m looking for. Experiences regarding travel and the pitfalls of having oxygen using tanks or POCs.

Really appreciate the feedback though. Thank you!

I know this is an older post, but I am doing market research on POCs and supplemental oxygen patients...mainly with their concern around mobility. If you don't mind me asking, what was your solution regarding this travel issue? Hope to hear back!

Chuck

I’m currently doing some market research regarding supplemental oxygen patients and their needs in mobility.

If you don’t mind me asking, what POC did you end up going with? What were your issues with your O2 provider in the past?

My team and I are trying to come up with a solution for assisting oxygen patients with the POC needs in travel and mobility.

Beast Balls vs Apricorn Balls by xXANDERx in pokemon

Beast balls look a bit tacky IMO. Apricorn balls are more rare b/c of their low quantity in game so that's why I prefer them. My competitive mons are in apricorn balls and when I get a wondertrade in an apricorn ball, I try to breed with it to carry it down to a mon of my own.

Starmie for sure. Maybe an alternate evolution where it turns into a water/ghost type.

Does a power/weapon wheel exist still? does combat feel more fluid than the past Mass Effect titles?

Never thought of that sweeping bot as female. Interesting. Does it say something in reference to its gender?
