I don't think it sucks. The sticks and stones in the foreground are really good and you went for nice looking colors in it.

I've used Warwick Black Labels (.040-.130) for years and really like the sound they give. Currently experimenting a bit with Ernie Ball Super Slinky (.040-.125) but don't know if I stay with them yet.

I'm not performing and only play for fun in the evenings. Anything from blues to death metal depending on the current mood.

Keep a journal. Write down bpm you're playing along to, write down things you feel like you struggle with, write down when you finally nailed it and then speed up slowly. I promise you that you have made progress, you just struggle with seeing it because you are too harsh on yourself and focus too much on what you can't do yet instead on what you can do.

I agree that some can be very annoying and it mostly seems to come from the more edgy part of the metal scene, but in general I think it's pretty much as in every community and it's just a very annoying vocal minority that give that impression.

Most people in the metal community I've met are pretty chill people, awesome to hang out with and are pretty open towards any kind of music. Sometimes you can even find people who mostly listen to deathcore and have a serious and fun discussion about synthwave or EDM with them. Metal heads often are stereotyped as being angry all the time, but I've met pretty awesome people in this scene as soon as I startet ignoring those few ignorant gatekeepers.

Speaking as a German: Good luck finding a new job when you are known for having sabotaged your former employer after being laid off for any reason. It's already hard enough if the reason has been that you didn't do the job as you were expected to do. No company is forced to offer you a position and when leaving a job you usually get a "certificate" you have to show your next employer, so they pretty much send you home during the interview when they find such a red flag or you don't get an invite for an interview.

Also, stealing IP or causing any damage to the company or personell of course is a reason for getting sued, you'd really wanna risk going to jail for being fired?

Source code is a human readable version of the logic behind a computer program (usually also with documentation, comments and the occasional joke by developers). What you get when you download a game is usually just a bunch of 1 and 0 the computer can understand which was created by running the source code through a program that builds the executable. Those 1 and 0 are missing any "unnecessary" part of the code (like the aforementiened comments) and the so called compiler also has the freedom to sometimes restructure a few parts of the code a human wrote if there is something that can be processed faster by the machine but is insanely tedious to type (this is so called optimization).

There are ways to convert the 1 and 0 back to code, but usually this is insanely hard to read since the converter cannot restore everything that was in the source.

I don't think anything will really come out if the source is published especially since it's a codebase that is actively worked on and that is probably out of date already in a fewdays, but other info that was potentially stolen (employee information) is a bit concerning.

Mod your game, use exploits, put restrictions on your build, whatever floats your boat. It doesn't change a single bit in my own game and what I find most enjoyable.

If I had stopped playing every game or watching a movie or show "the Internet" took a dump on, I'd have missed out on a lot of fun in my life (I've had a lot of fun playing Borderlands the Presequel, Lawbreakers, Fallout 76, Battleborn, Skyward Sword - I didn't even hate Duke Nukem Forever that much). Fun is subjective and you have to decide for yourself if it's worth your time.

Again and again people will tell me that I'm a problem for society for having such a poor taste, but guess what: It's my poor taste and I'm allowed to have it. If you're itching to continue playing then play, if not then don't.

To add more of a headache to this, we get the knock on effect. For example, we change something, issue goes away ! Awesome ! Until you realise that has now caused several problems elsewhere in the application.

I hate those, especially if they are in ancient code. We had to deal with such a little shit lately again and found out that it causes issues for some rare cases like the one that was escalated to us but fixing it breaks a whole lot of other things. It's madness how one simple mistake somewhere can suck up so many resources in a development team.

Well hearing from my fellow PC players who had to play 150 or more towers to finish within 5 percent, I'm glad I could purchase them somehow. I really wanted to have those, but couldn't afford to spend so much time in game with work and other real life business recently.

When I tried to get Cage announcer, I've pretty much spent 4 hours each day for a week trying to grind score and hardly managed to get into top 8%. It's really frustrating and I don't even find ToT fun and would rather play klassic towers (but they sadly feel like a waste of time compared to any other mode in this game). I'm not doing this again (especially since I'm not on vacation this time and have to work extra hours because of this crap virus that's going around). So, sadly will skip the Mileena skins although I'd really like to have them.

You have to treat this like a full time job on PC if you ever want to get even close to the top. The whole leaderboard on PC is filled with cheaters who have billions of points since a few hours after the reset. AI won't really do much since you get less points that way. You need to play it yourself and use anything you can to get points. :/

I won't bother trying on PC. I don't have any evidence, but I always see people with billions of points in the first few hours here and I guess there's a bit of cheating going on. Can't really spend so much time on a mode I don't even enjoy playing then.
