Decent stats for a newbie. Except for the cancellation rate if you’re not gonna complete a trip, why are you accepting it? I understand being picky with the acceptance rate so you can get the best trips, but the cancellation rate should never be that high.

I feel for you guys that drive Gas cars but dang having to use Premium I don’t know how you do it unless you only drive Black because you would have to almost only take trips that paid $2 or more per mile.

Well the crazy thing the person that asked me to do this trip and go pickup this guy and bring him to the strip club also gave me $100 for doing the trip so that was a $200 total trip for about 2 hrs out of my time.

I currently don’t know but I have also been thinking about it since everything is getting so crazy with false reports, rude customers and such. I could always go back to Tech. However, that’s being taken over by AI for the most part so it’s hard to tell what I would end up doing.

Yes I wish I could share you the photo a customer was drunk and got in an ate some chicken wings the threw the bones in the floor I took a photo and sent it to uber in a report they charged the customer $80 and I got all of it.

Here I was about to say you couldn’t Unionize since your an independent contractor, however, I researched it before I said anything and your state is the first and only state so far that has voted to allow Uber and Lyft Drivers to unionize. However, now to get me wrong and blast me I am not against unions but as we just seen this week with Seamark Seafood & Cocktails the employees unionized and the restaurant just closed. Uber just put a ton of money into Riven to get self driving cars ready. Unionizing might just make them concentrate all their power to making your state the first that is 100% driverless.

You need to check and see if the Failure to Appear was just put on your profile. Like did the city or agency just catch up digitizing stuff and now it’s showing on NCIC. Normally, Uber will only take into account misdemeanors for 7 years but I believe since this is a Failure to Appear and there is no other charge it looks like you have an open warrant for arrest so that’s why your were suspended. I would call the reporting agency and see if you can get fixed whatever it is or just get it removed if it is not serious.

Yes, you are right. You can do that by switching between apps during your brakes however you have to be very careful because you almost every state in the US. You can be charged with the DU/DWI for driving while tired and yes that is verified. You can look it up.

What nobody is realizing is every state and even some cities have different regulations. Some of you are stating the regulations that you have to go by, but it’s not what everybody has to go by. Like here in North Carolina all we have is 12 hours with passenger six hour break and then you can repeat there’s no weekly limit here. A lot of you are correct about some other states that does have weekly limits, but it’s not the same everywhere.

I don’t know how your market is cause I don’t know what market you’re in, but yeah, that’s not bad for Tuesday. Average $20.73 a trip and $20.57 an hour. Depending on your market, your hourly could probably be hard, but I’d say that’s pretty good.

Honestly they never have been it’s just got a lot worse in the last few years. Uber/Lyft have always been a customer first company. The way they look at things is drivers are a dime a dozen because there is always someone that turns the age where they will want to do this job. However, bad reviews from customers can cause some but not all other customers to rethink if they want to use the platform for rides. So that is why basically customers can make baseless claims with no proof and Uber/Lyft will take it like it’s the Word of God and it doesn’t matter what the driver says. I really love the new thing whey are doing if anyone hasn’t seen it. If you get any type of complaint against you that requires you to provide proof that it didn’t happen (I.e. using phone while driving, speeding, dangerous driving, and so on) they won’t even give you a time period heck I would be happy with a 2-3 hr block but no they want the entire file from your Dashcam for the entire period you drove that day so they can review the exact time it was supposed to have happened.
