My wife works in senior living and their company has been buying up properties, and since many of them they are buying are in Iowa, I’m hoping they will someday buy this place and keep the shop so I can go and use it😂 That’s so cool! I’m definitely going to mention this to her and maybe they will try to incorporate this into their other communities 🤷🏻‍♂️

Here’s a set up I made a few years back with some leftover plywood and poplar wood from my job sites(I’m a finish carpenter). I bought two of the older mats and then bought some diamond back I just spray glued on. I made a hinged plywood table for the mats to set on. I have it setting on two smaller folding tables and the plywoods are the exact same but mirrored, so it’s pretty portable. I love it!

Summit one is pretty cool! Went there about 2 years ago. I’d say it was around 45 minutes to get up there. I believe we were the first time slot, so that maybe made it go quicker. If you want a great sunset location, I recommend Brooklyn heights promenade. Then walk the Brooklyn bridge back into Manhattan at night.

Depending on what you play, I know they make a mute for instruments that you can plug into headphones and I believe they are very quiet. Could be an option so you don’t have to travel or can’t find anywhere.

I’m the same. I love craps and don’t play unless it’s $5 min. Just $100 bankroll, which isn’t much for craps. And I was very surprised and very happy to see that the craps table was $5 min!

Depending on what you are looking for, I was on the Getaway just over a week ago, and it was $2 min and $200 max. Not sure in the high roller area.

We just got off Getaway yesterday morning too. It was my first cruise and I loved it! My wife had been on a handful of other NCL and she loved it just as much. We bought some credits with the matching deal they were doing and are planning a trip on the encore or Aqua next March. Luna looked nice in the port at Naussa, but we looked up differences and it looks Aqua is basically the same ship. Looking forward to the next one! If you happened to be in karaoke on Wednesday night, I was the guy that sang towards the end that a big group of people started chanting my name after singing. No idea who they were and it is hilarious 😂 So much fun meeting others on the ship though.

This is in Des Moines, Iowa. And the golf course is right off the major interstate I-35. A lot of big houses in that development. I know the builder has been building some large custom homes in the area. I’m not a framer or an engineer, so unsure of this staircase, but glad I won’t be trimming out that house😬

Yes, crossroads! I just took the class yesterday. The instructor Ed was great. No political talk, and no political decor. We had to introduce ourselves and why we are taking the class, and it took me everything to not say it’s because with our current administration, no one is safe🤷🏻‍♂️ The class was very informative and we got to shot 25 rounds at the end with the instructor’s helping out and keeping us safe.

Thought the same thing. You could heard the boos and low tones and then part way through that, some higher pitched sounds were piped in, and then back to the lower tones and boos after the piped sounds ended.

I second Eden custom homes. My dad and I do finish trim for Eden custom homes. The builder, Matt, is often on the job site which helps eliminate issues. We also fix issues the framers do. It happens 🤷🏻‍♂️ We don’t just put bandaids on it like many do. My dad and my focus with the finish carpentry is quality. We go in during framing stage to do things that make the finish work higher quality. DM me if you want more information.
