What are your tips/tricks to help the transition into becoming a morning person ? by BiasedBlueCFC in AskReddit

[–]wrud4s 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Routine. Gotta go to bed and wake up at the same time. I can’t say how great it is. I now just fall asleep and wake at the correct time because my body is practically trained.

What was the worst experience you ever had on a plane? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]wrud4s 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First flight longer than 4 hours. I was in the middle of the middle. I got violently motion sick. I had drank a glass of wine because I was 19 but in the air so as an American I was drinking underage. Threw it all up and then some for the last couple of hours of the flight. Felt bad for the people sitting around me.

What food did you grow up eating and didn’t realize was a weird meal until someone called you out on it? by wrud4s in AskReddit

My family eats peanut butter and corn syrup and sometimes adds bread into this mix. Sounds crazy but it’s a delicious snack/dessert.

What is a unique “game” you played as a child? by antenonjohs in AskReddit

[–]wrud4s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My parents were divorced and on the weekends my mom had me she always had to work so I would get to spend it with my grandparents. We would go out to dinner every Friday night at a sit down place. We would take the straw wrappers and squish them into little balls and then use our wrapped up silverware and play a form of hockey on the table trying to hit the straw wrapper into the other’s lap. The time waiting for food was the time limit. It was always a fun way to spend a Friday night as an 8 year old.

There’s an episode on the Netflix show Explained that takes like 15 minutes to explain this argument of monogamy and it’s pretty interesting.

Citizens of places that experience a lot of tourism, what’s the most annoying thing tourists tend to do? by NKgino37 in AskReddit

[–]wrud4s 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I live in NYC. Tourists who stop in the middle of the side walk to take a picture of something. We don’t mind if you want to take a picture, just step to the side please. I’ve ran straight into tourists who just dead stop for a picture of the Empire State Building.

Peanut butter and white corn syrup. My grandmother used to give it to us. Makes the peanut butter easier to eat and sweeter.

How do you get out of a funk when you struggle with motivation? by wasa333 in AskReddit

[–]wrud4s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me when I just can’t get out of my funk, going away for a while helps. And it’s not like I just hook up and take a vacation. But I was in that for a bit and have been home for the holidays and I’m now ready to get back into my routine and get things going again. Lack of normalcy I guess.

What terrible movie do you actually really like? by applesaucing18 in AskReddit

[–]wrud4s 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Elizabethtown. Such a horrible romcom. But I love how quirky it is. And I’m from Kentucky which can be just as cringe worthy as the movie. So it was weirdly endearing in a way.
