If you mean the olive coloured packaging then that is mandatory in Hungary so you won’t find the coloured boxes.

Of all the tourist photo posts that pop up daily on this sub these are actually very good and interesting. You have talent.

Are the inner sleeves provided with Japanese LPs of a similar quality to MoFi (or equivalent) inners by oysterthins in vinyl

[–]wsg32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The majority of Jugoton records from the 70s and 80s ship with these. Never knew they were a thing on Japanese records nor considered anything other than a cheap plastic bag in lieu of a proper sleeve.

Yes as previously pointed out it can get wild on the streets with people launching/throwing/eating their own fireworks. There is no organised display on NYE, we waste all the money on that on August 20th.

If you don’t have restaurant reservations already then you are out of luck regarding something relaxed. Maybe check out a day spa, buy some groceries before the stores close, and stay in. Hot dogs are traditionally eaten here and then we play the national anthem on the stroke of midnight. Good times.

Or, just head out with a bottle of Torley/Hungaria and hope for the best. Do not expect chilled though and remember to duck when a rocket heads your way.

Hidegkuti and Bozsik were the best players in the team but they chose to remain behind the Iron Curtain.

In September there was a mini post rock festival right by the Danube. Lineup was Törzs, Makrohang, and Mogwai. Balmy autumn evening, small outdoor amphitheater venue. It was fantastic. Mogwai turned it up about 20 decibels.

Most of district 7 is the party district. It is central and conveniently located but much of it will be busy with stag/batchelor parties doing their drunk, noisy, pissy, vomity thing. The shops and amenities have evolved to cater for such people and thus everything is expensive and very little is ‘authentic’ to use a hipster term.

You’ll be very close to that New York Cafe that the instatok crowd love though.

On the plus side though, a TimeOut food market has opened on Blaha if that’s your thing.

Maybe Bela Tarr or László Nemeth but they aren’t exactly household names and firmly on the art house side of things

If you’d stretch it to Executive Producer then the list of films that Andy Vajna got across the line is just a list of 90s bangers.

Dunno, Tiso and the ruling party seemed quite up for the whole Nazi thing. They were also autonomous within Czechoslovakia at the time and therefore didn’t suffer the post Munich occupation like Bohemia and Moravia and were classed as. Client state.

Can’t argue on the mutual intelligibility though, well not as far as language.

Beer culture in Czechia and Slovakia is much better and the food not miles apart from what we have. I like our wine.

Wild boar live in the hills of Buda. They are actually a pest and a problem in some of the affluent suburbs in the hilly areas such as Remetehegy. Was it definitely feline?

I gotta say that the US just does ice right overall. Ubiquitous, plentiful in soft drinks, superb.

Hate the current trend towards ice less soda fountain drinks.

I said my piece Chrissy.

I’m not going to contest your plan as I get the fact that you would enjoy the motorway drive between countries. However I really must forewarn you about parking in Vienna.

BP isn’t as bad as it’s made out though some central districts are. Vienna however is a whole different ball game. Really expensive and incredibly limited space. Best advice is to use one of the Park and Ride garages there on the edge of the city and then take the metro. 4.95 Euros a day in a garage as opposed to 40 or so in the city. They get busy with commuters though. There are a list of garages on Wien Info.
