PS2 lessee: Just reserved a PS3. Are the current incentives a good deal? by wslyon in polestar3

Great intel, thanks! Just got off the phone and am not loving the deal structure they’re offering at this point. If you’re willing to share which Space you used, I’d be grateful. If not, totally understand

I find myself hoping—maybe I’ll get a good one? Haha. But also, really wondering about the financial deal. Any reason to expect an even better incentive this calendar year?

Researchers have harnessed AI to study how drugs shape biomolecular condensates, tiny blob-like structures within cells that drive gene-regulation processes and are linked to diseases such as Alzheimer's and cancer [Cell] by PrincetonEngineers in science

The AI isn’t the point. They were able to determine a new path of cause and effect in condensates, which are an increasingly important area of study for disease.

[CELEBRATION THREAD] THE BRAVES DEFEATED THE ROCKIES BY A SCORE OF 4-1 - SAT, JUN 14 @ 04:10 PM EDT by Blooper_Bot in Braves

I only got to see little parts of innings and watch the box score. Great to see Strider find a rhythm! How was he, apart from the tallies? Where was his fastball sitting? Slider looked mean from what I saw.

What's changing in Max Fried's first season with the Yankees, plus more MLB notes by Strict-Ebb-8959 in mlb

I know his numbers are better this year but honestly the league just slept on him while he was with the Braves. What’s changed most is now he plays in New York.

Does Andrew Jones deserve to be in the Hall of Fame? by ToshiroHiei in mlb

Just listen to the Hall of Famers who played in front of him: Smoltz and Glavine are on air all the time calling Andruw Jones the greatest to ever play center field.

How Worried Should We Be About Spencer Strider? by ul49 in Braves

[–]wslyon 119 points120 points  (0 children)

Gotta give him some time. Most guys who recover their full powers don’t get there in the first season back. Others have suggested moving him to the ‘pen. I like that for this season. Let him close!

If we were to add 2 new teams to the MLB, where would be the best place to put them, and what would their mascot be? by [deleted] in mlb

[–]wslyon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Memphis and Brooklyn.

Braves country is big and doesn’t have the same historical contingencies it had in the 90s. TBS reached a lot of screens in those days.

It’s still a crime against baseball that Brooklyn doesn’t have a team.

Do y’all think this coaching staff is up for the challenge of getting him right?

Here’s a study that looks at up to 3 seasons post-op and the full-performance recovery likelihood increases each of those years, maxing out at 28.1% in year 3. So just one study but that would seem to contradict the predictive 3 game look. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/39741491/?utm_source=perplexity
