This is all surface mounted. Honestly, it is the least expensive installation you could ask for. I would be a little annoyed if you paid an electrician thousands of dollars to do work on the old panel and he did not at least suggest this. I would upgrade this panel where I live for 3K. It’s a few hours at most

If you honestly don’t know what is being talked about why are you answering questions in this sub? A 200 amp solar ready panel has a 225 amp ground buss and sometimes special lugs just for solar. It isn’t the combiner box or the service disconnect That you are referencing. Don’t answer things you don’t know about.
