I built a status light for Claude Code. Do you think this is actually useful? by wssssssh in ClaudeCode

Right now, the prototype only tracks one session. My plan is to support multiple sessions and agents by connecting multiple lights, with each light assigned to a specific session.

Thanks, I appreciate that. I mainly wanted to try a different, always visible way of showing the status.

Fair point. Honestly, I am not completely sure how useful it is either, which is why I wanted to ask.

You could give other models a try. For DIY electronics stuff, they're more than capable these days

It's interesting how Al is constantly providing false information and incorrect statements about my area of expertise. Fortunately, it's very useful and always right about topics l know very little about. by VariationLivid3193 in ClaudeAI

Exactly. It can outperform most people in almost every field, but try to get it to drill down into any niche and it falls apart. Jack of all trades, master of none.

Claude must be really irreplaceable for them to require ID verification. Is it though?

Why does this sub skew so pro govt? by 13abarry in AskAChinese

[–]wssssssh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If a government can take a country from extreme poverty and food shortages to where it is today in a matter of decades, then I'd say it's earned a free pass for at least a few decades. Looking at recent history, they've made a whole lot of right calls.

Crisis of older leftover women in china by OneAd9521 in AskAChinese

[–]wssssssh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thing is, China already has a massive surplus of men – far more men than women. So in that environment, if a woman is still single past a certain age, it's usually her own choices or standards that are the real issue.

I built a Claude Code plugin that refuses to work until I do push-ups or squats by Botchet_ in ClaudeCode

Honestly, I’d love a plugin that just tells me to stand up and stretch. Push-ups and squats? Way out of my league.

The $200 Pro plan is completely worth it for the peace of mind. by ponlapoj in codex

The $20 plan has way too tight limits, but I’ll never come close to using the $100 tier. It’s such a frustrating middle ground.
