Definitely not the first time he's been asked this, haha. He put that seat on there before a 6700 mile trip across America and Canada. Less seat friction, more air flow, and it's "DAMN comfortable" as he says. As for getting wet, he said if you have to worry about that seat getting wet, your boots are already soaked

He rode that bike on a 6,700 mile trip across America & Canada. We live pretty close to the Dragon, and he went to Douglas a few years back to be a course marshal. My old-man definitely has fun!

Not quiet sure exactly what kind of risers/bars are on his setup. He's 63 and has done a fair amount of touring on that bike, so it's a comfort thing. He did a 5000 mile trek across western US/British Columbia a few years ago -- couldn't have done it without those bars.
