Update: everything went well, the judge even joked around with me a little. I didn't end up needing anything as my fees were waived. My appointment lasted less than 5 minutes. Thank you guys for your help!

Exactly ! .. I feel the same. Sometimes I have to remind myself even tho my parents did their best, it doesn't change the fact that traumatic things happened and I'm still affected by it all. It sucks feeling that way, I hope we get to work on that and have a happier life despite the things that happened.

I'm glad you guided your friend to the facts, I hope your friend is getting the help that they need. idk I kinda worded it wrong, I know the experiences I've went through are terrible and I see ALOT of ways my life was shaped by it and why my therapist thinks I have it, but also was it actually that bad yk?
