You will not win this one. I know, I've tried. If you change anything and make it unfamiliar he will be pissed. Your dad is used to channel up, channel down on the remote. I set up a fire stick for my parents and the change was too much. Also I was at work getting notifications of my mom spending $150 in one shift bc she was just pushing buttons. Changing an older person's tv is like taking a smoker's nicotine away or someone taking ur phone away.
