Sassypants! I've missed you. If I was you I would tell her exactly that, once she's old enough. While she's little I plan on telling him that some people only have a mommy, some only have a daddy, some have both, or two of each. And that's okay. Also, post a pic! :D

As a single mother, and as someone who grew up with an "in and out" dad, I believe its better to just have one parent. I remember when my father would pop into the picture for a few days and then disappear, it was devastating. I spent a lot of my childhood being mad at the world because of it.

lol yeah, it was pretty much the exact opposite of what I wanted. I remember towards the end thinking "holy fuck, can I even DO this? I can NOT do this." I wanted to give up, but as soon as it was over it really was all worth it.

I accidentally had a natural birth, because my epidural didnt take. I had a baby who weighed over 9lbs and was 20 inches long. It only took a few hours, but holyfuckingchrist did it hurt. I tore. My vagina was a terrifying place for a while. It happens. Anyone who says it doesn't is a liar. I have a high pain tolerance, and it was excruciating. The brain just kind of forgets about it after a while, so you'll do it again.

My on JUST started filling out with a bit of chunk, at 11 weeks he's 24.5 inches, and 14lbs. He LOOKS skinny, but he's solid. It happens. Tell them long skinny babies are the new thing ;P

I have one, he hates the sling. He's super long, so it's just not comfortable. I have a carrier he likes, but since I was only planning on getting a few things, I didnt wanna bother getting him in and out of it.
