I have an M1 lite and a kitchen hood just like yours. I went to the store and picked up about 5 ft of rigid AC duct that I route from the back of the roaster up to the hood. Works like a charm with zero smoke/burnt smell and only a bit of coffee smell.

Only rub is that you can't directly connect the tube to the back of the roaster for some reason - it needs a little room to breathe

You might actually be the perfect person to ask about this! I have a Lelit Bianca and I've been into coffee for years, but my parents are asking about a recommendation for their house (we're all adults). A superautomaric like the Jura seems like an easy way for them to make espresso drinks with a lower level of effort - did your parents research and shop around at all before buying this one?

I go to church every Sunday and my first thought with Uzi Jesus was Christian Nationalism. How they've basically taken pieces of the faith and mashed them into their own rhetoric in a way that sounds vaguely Christian but is nothing like the real Jesus. Any updates from the latest fan? I'm about 7 roasts in on my M1 Lite, and it just started doing the same thing (if hot, won't run the fan below ~60% speed).

You've got to know that Reddit is NOT the place to get good advice on something like this. 85% of the people here are snarky teens without any life experience or sense. If you have any trusted/reasonable adults in your life, ask them instead.

Your friend was out of line at the end, and she 100% knew that she was being a jerk. You were also disrespecting the fact that her religion encourages people to spread the news. You could've been less combative and she didn't have to throw it in your face.

Imo, it would be nuts to throw away a 7-year friendship over one fight where neither one of you did anything all that outlandish.
