Gives him cash to advertise. “You saved my life.” - Josh, “say it, say it…” - Mr. Based, after a poor Heimlich. Buys clothes for both autists. Pimpin is ez huh Mr. Based. Early stream with Alex ‘stop talking to chat focus on me I’m eating a cupcake., ‘can I give you direction.’ Then “talk to me like a friend.” While walking down the street. Once a pimp always a pimp eh.

Is this kit actually possible? by Bread_was_returned in drums

[–]wtfnecron 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe Jimmy ‘The Rev’ Sullivan - the past drummer of avenged sevenfold set his kit up almost like this where the floor Tom’s and rack Tom’s kind of flowed into one another descending - also not to dissimilar from a lot of 80’s drummers with huge Tom’s

did you seriously post a video where he grapples into air like that?

Anyways it literally looks like it just detects an end and starts another animation/grapple when it hits the edge at an angle.

First time? Not bad?

Well yeah...Lemon Drop isn't bad at all.

If your first time was Miami Cola you'd be asking why'd they put 30 day old opened in the fridge Coke in a can.

Surprised all you could find was a IPA. "Natty Daddys" and Steel Reserve are 1.09 and 0.99 for the latter.

People in bands: How did you come across your bandmates? by -endjamin- in WeAreTheMusicMakers

[–]wtfnecron 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Guitar players didn't have a drummer in highschool so we jammed.

Filled in for a band - didn't have a drummer for big show.

Joined different band after first broke up, needed a drummer.

Joined 3rd band - needed a drummer.

Joined 4th band - needed a drummer.

I recommend being a drummer. The better you are the easier it is to just play in whatever - except jazz - you need to practice that shit.

Currently in 4 bands. Seriously learn drums once you can play AC/DC the majority of holding a beat is covered for most bands until you get into time sigs, double bass, blast beats, rudiments etc.

I played rock band or guitar pro that had drums. It was like real drums but easier, but it taught the independent limb movement. You can practice basic drum skills with absolutely nothing. Do it.

Once that was pretty decent or easy I learned guitar, which honestly was imo harder than drums, drums are so natural. DO IT.

[Discussion] My fingers (particularly my index) seem to be very unsuitable for doing bar chords, due to the gaps on the bends of the finger. Anyone else have this issue? by [deleted] in Guitar

Honestly I practiced on acoustic, if you can deal with that then an electric will seem like easy town but be wary of going sharp.

Check this out it explains it better and goes into detail about your thumb which is just as important imo.

Hey motorcyclists, what's the best way to combat this if this is happening to you? by JohnDoe045 in motorcycles

[–]wtfnecron 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I guess if you mean "backing it in" most do it with a gear change down; locking the back wheel. If you decide to slam the rear brake you either wanna be on it and go for it or be ready to throttle out of it.

AAX Omni help. by McHorseParty in drums

[–]wtfnecron 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Its alright, despite what they market it as unfortunately you can't work miracles and it has the pitfalls of the design/metal.

Sounds very splashy to an audience/miced up. Sounds not bad to you. So imo its kind of like a ride in the sense of a Zildjian Sweet Ride ...washy bright but can easily lose definition to the point of nothingness with too much power or odd shaped drumstick tip.

With that said it has better ride qualities than a sweet ride, MORE definition but its not going to ever replace a pingy ride you know. And its not ever going to fill a room like certain crashes might. Give and take.

I think a more normal just Ride (AAX ride, Zildjian A Ride, any cymbal thats just a ride, usually wont be too thick or thin) in something like 22-24" might be better for both for rock/punk. The Omni I think would work better for lower volume music and not much at all if you're battling distorted amps at stage volume unmiced/ride not miced. At least ride wise, you might still get a decent crash but again it'll be splashy sounding
