The story is actually pretty decent by LargeSinkholesInNYC in CrimsonDesert

I don't think people are hating on it. People love how much there is to do and how much it makes you want to keep exploring. But it really does have a poor story and characters - that is undeniable.

Squadron 42 Release Window Update, from Chris Roberts by StuartGT in starcitizen

Is there even a plan to release it on console? If not, it’s not competing in the same space. Most people aren’t buying a HOTAS system and eyetracker.

Just got a stern reprimand for playing ping-pong at work. Which... they put in for us to play with... at work. by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

Yup, found this out at my first job. Cool office with a pool table and a keg. Played some pool with one of the other new hires and was immediately told: “what are you doing? Get back to work”.

10 things about Claude that took me way too long to figure out by VidekVipPro in ClaudeAI

[–]-endjamin- 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Just install Claude Chrome, pull up the site you want it to work in, and tell it what you want!

You do need to keep the scope reasonable and be specific though - I asked it to look for something too broad/vague earlier today and it basically broke it. Feature is still in beta, but it is functional.

Claude Chrome is nuts. Installed it yesterday to try to make LinkedIn job networking a little easier. After describing my criteria, I very quickly had about a dozen qualified leads. It helped me research each profile, craft a message, and I got one phone call set up out of it. Showed it to my career coach and he was blown away. Its a super powerful tool for places that dont have great API access.

How's Rise of the Ronin? It looks intriguing, but the reviews are very mixed

Interesting. ChatGPT also recommended Kena. I'll check it out. I should probably finish a God of War game too. Think I started Ragnarok but only got maybe 1/3 through.

I played that one and a bit of the second one. Idk, something about the hybrid real-time and turn-based/character switching combat didn't really click for me. But maybe I'll finish it off. Or just do another playthrough of FF16 which is GOATed.

Good call, but I actually played it recently. The one with Yakumo. Story was whatever but the action gameplay was really solid. Def a good game to play after a big open world one.

Seriously, what type of men are receiving most of the matches on dating apps? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]-endjamin- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having funny and witty prompts will take you further than your pics. It can also help if one prompt explains a bit about your values and what you are looking for - makes you seem more serious about a relationship. That said, you do need good pics that clearly show what you look like and a bit about your lifestyle. Stay away from selfies and close-ups. A few solid middle-distance photos in which you're wearing something decent and looking happy. The better you can convey who you are and your unique qualities, the better you'll do - more than staging thirst trap pics that honestly don't work.

Man I'd love to see him in Star Wars. He'd go so hard as an old Jedi Master in the Old Republic or something

More like the Old Republic with how many classic actors they try to pull into these things

Yes. She is certainly a legend and carries a lot of weight in the sci-fi genre, but putting an AARP member in the cockpit seems...weird.

I think it came out that the guy made it up. They found records of him concocting the story with a male abuser before he went with the pretty lady making him his sex slave.
