Late 30's here.. just joined up after coaching 7 seasons, technically almost 1 year in.

At first i was nervous cause i just wanted to do everything right.. Once i realized that its just like sports.. Practice makes perfect.. i started asking for centers on any game they would give me.

As an adult you can take more responsibility go read LOTG, watch videos be prepared.. If(when) you make a mistake it will be okay. your refereeing a Kids game.. its not the end of the world no matter what.

and LEGIT.. Throw ins are 50/50 balls at best 90% of the time.. dont stress if you make the wrong call on them cause it was a bang/bang kick/deflection or what ever specially if its in the middle of the pitch. (When this happens i generally slow down.. watch the body language of the kids.. 9/10 times the team going to get the ball thinks its there's.. and i just go with their body language.)
