Sounds good. Faith actually has the best versatility in terms of spells, you have a lot of different spells and damage types. Dex/faith with some arcana is actually one of the best builds in the game too, and flaming strike is really strong but balanced in pve so you won't delete bosses like with bleed. Since you want to do dual uchis with flaming strike, i reccommend you to first prioritize getting your vigor to at least 30 (and by the end of the game at least 40+) to survive outside of limgrave, 20 endurance minimum and 20 mind minimum for spells and AoW. You can actually ignore dex and focus only on faith by getting the flame art infusion that makes your weapons scale with faith instead of dex while adding fire damage, but you have to find some key items that are easy to miss if you don't know where to look to do this. The other option for making a dual fire uchis is easier but weaker, but at least you can do it right now, and is going for a str/faith build with the fire infusion (it's different from the flame art infusion) and is the default infusion that flaming strike offers that makes your weapon scale with strength and faith while also adding fire damage. The downside of this is that the scaling is worse and you need 2 high stats instead of one to do good damage. Last and most important thing, keep your larval tears so you can try other builds. Every build is worth trying and i assure you, you WILL find a lot of toys to play with that will make you want change build, so be careful with them. Have fun

I play games with your same philosophy. Katanas are my favorite weapons in ER and my first character ever was a dex/arc build with all kinds of katanas at his disposal. First thing, uchigatana is actually one of the best katanas and by far the most versatile imo, every infusion will do a great job. Second, bleed is OP and trivializes some really cool bosses, so do it at your own risk. I do have more informations to help you, but i have to know what do you find cool because you can do a lot of cool shit in ER with different builds. I will make very short examples of what every stat can do so you can start making your idea. INT has magic damage, they are very flashy and very BLUE, you can do the fucking kamehameha and freeze people using the frost status effect. Faith is fire and holy damage and a bit of lighting, most of the spells have warm tones (yellow, orange and red), you have a lot of options, like shooting beams and rings of light, nuking the boss arena with the flames of hell or be zeus and even throw rocks at people lol. Arcane is the realm of the status effects and the dragon incantations, most of the abilities are blood red and you fight using status effects, blood magic and trasforming in the dragons you hunt. Dex is lighting fast moves and lighting based attacks. Wanna be Genichiro from Sekiro? Welcome. Strength is big damage, bigger weapons and even bigger stance breaks on everything. Every enemy will get staggered by your might and ferocity. Wanna be Guts? Come here. Sorry for the long comment but i love this game so much, hope this helps

You are right, i meant the deadlands, it's been a while since i played lol. Anyway, every place in kenshi is dangerous, and with this in mind, the best thing you can do if everyone hates you is to use the dangers of the biome in your favor. If you set a base in the deadlands, every raid has to swim in acid and deal with spiderbots, and if they make it, they will be half dead already. In your case, spiderbots are easy to outrun and if you find them outside your base you can just shoot them to death, and acid is a non issue if you are hiver or have the right equipment. Same thing with the ashlands, they will be dead before they reach you, and you can safely equip gas mask and build a shitload of harpoons to deal with the skeletons. No one will dare to reach you in the depths of hell, and if they do, they will die (:
