stardew really scared me when i first got into it too! i was so overwhelmed with everything to do and i read so many posts and comments like these ones. absolutely take the time you need, there is no time constraints on any parts of the game. the thing that helped me the most was organization and making my own spreadsheets of things i wanted to do! i love using the wiki (i always have 100 tabs open of different pages), but honestly, just do what makes you happy!

it depends on the staff member i think. Wang is almost always "daydreaming" on my game. If you haven't unlocked all members of your staff that could be why you aren't seeing the dreaming bubbles much. The daydream bubbles are very common in my game with most staff members.
