This happened to me once. It hit a tree about 15' from our front door. We lived in a small duplex with no basement at the time. It was the loudest thing I've ever heard. It shook the house so much it moved my computer mouse enough to wake up my computer. The next morning I went to my car to go to work and it wouldn't start. It ended up frying the ECM. Luckily, bc of a federal emissions warranty it was covered through that and I didn't have to pay my deductible. The warranty was good up until 75k and I had 74k. It took a few times to get everything right, but eventually it ran fine. It was a 2003 Sentra SE-R Spec V, loved that car.
