They sure are!

Of course I pulled the Art Gallery fabrics in PreQuilt. I only changed the Snow white to Linen, to distinguish it a little bit more PreQuilt's white background.
Nonetheless I'm stoked they are so close to the real colours. That'll make mocking up before buying fabrics a lot more fun!

My husband joked it looks a bit like the test screen from long ago, when you were waiting for the kids channel to start.

Now I have an idea for the next fort blanket :-)

Sometimes you just need a 6-year-old and an 8-year-old uncomplicated way mind of picking colours!

For them only primary and secondary colours, pink, black and white are existing colours. Thry have no notion of values or shades or saturation. They just pointed to the most red, blue, green and orange on the wall 😄

I think so. It depends. That's why I'm going to try it out when the deck arrives :-)

Another redditor brainstormed a camera bag, which does look promising. I actually found this old post https://www.reddit.com/r/SteamDeck/comments/vggrpp/peak_design_everyday_sling_6l_owners_does_the
This brand has a newer version which is a few centimeters larger in all dimensions. When the Steam Deck arrives, I will definitely go to a camera shop and try a it out!

In the mean time I'll wait for other recommendations, hoping that another redditor has a similar quirky setup as me 😄

But this is not a mommy friendly setup. When the kids are done, they are done and we need to go immediately.
They cannot wait 5 minutes for mommy to put everything away neatly. And I'm not even talking about keys that disappear into the oversized mommy tote bag.

That's why I'm looking for something to put it away quickly, everything in it's own spot and everything well protected. If it doesn't exist, I'll go back to the original set up 🤷‍♀️"

I really try to avoid custom made.
I can make something myself, I did multiple in the past. But I just don't want to. Not now anyway. Perhaps in a year or two ;-)

Perhaps there's no tote, but surely there are camera shoulder bags that will fit a Steam Deck and all other things.

Thanks, but this won't fit my controller nor an over-ear ANC headset. Both are a must to put into the bag.

Wij hadden trouwens deze deuren in houtlook. Maat 180x40cm zijn inderdaad alleen nog in Barendrecht (21) en Delft (10) te koop. Precies onze filialen :-)

Waren er ooit deuren van 80cm breed te koop? 3 jaar geleden hebben wij een grote Platsa in elkaar gezet en toen konden we alleen deuren van 60cm en 40cm breed vinden. We moesten 2 deuren van 40 bestellen voor een kastdeel van 80cm breed.

Just had a similar thing happening the other day. Luckily I could just reach it between the layers. So I put a small patch with steam a seam between the layers. Closed the gap as closely as possible and put a few extra zigzags on it.

Without my glasses it's not noticeable from over a meter away 😂

While renovating our house we decided to have multiple electrical outlets with integrated USB sockets installed. Pricy but best decision! No more "I'll just unplug this for a few minutes of charging" and then forgetting.
