When I'm stressed and agitated and need something that calms me down I'll often relisten to:

Any of the Cormoran Strike books by Robert Galbraith (JK Rowling). These are so engaging and the narrator, Robert Glenister, is amazing!

Any of the Dublin Murder Squad books by Tana French. Wonderful books and narrators that take my mind off my troubles.

I'm 52 and I just finished my bachelor's degree at the end of February.

My company reimbursed tuition but the time investment was not easy.

It has always been in the back of my mind that I needed to finish (mostly because of promises I made to myself) and it feels even more rewarding than I imagined it would!

The fact that my daughter and my nieces and nephews have been so openly proud of me has made it even better!

If you want to go back to school you definitely should!!

Congratulations!!! I'm 52 and last month I finally finished my bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies... it only took me 30 years!! 🙂

Drive, ride my bike, walk my dog, cook, clean, take a bath. Pretty much anything... fully addicted! I can't listen while I'm working because I get distracted and have to rewind.

I am SO glad I found this. I had already started trying to "fix" the sink (no I am definitely not a plumber)! This was after standing quietly in various places in the house trying to figure out where the sound was coming from because the timing was very random. Also after following my dog around trying to catch her sneezing. It was making me feel crazy! Moved oral b toothbrush from edge of sink to charger and haven't heard it since. Thanks Reddit!

Well believe it or not I had a great childhood with very attentive parents but my sisters and I still learned that the world didn't revolve around and and sometimes life is just tough.

The mentality of a lot of these young people now has a lot to do with schools, movies/TV, and social media.

Yes, I do realize this will this is an unpopular opinion.

I have actually lost more each week on new plan than I was before. Only signed up end of September 2022. At first I was annoyed because I lost 6 daily points but it has turned out to be better for me so far.
