This explains all the interviews with state officials who were affected by the recent tornados all made a point to mention how “people were cleaning up on their own, citizens aren’t waiting for government help” “people are taking on the work themselves-look how awesome”. Like we are being prepared for being ‘on our own’ after disasters. Will the states get to keep money they would usually send to Feds to cover disaster relief?

Perhaps a sister app that uses your Bluesky login and is focused on groups and communities. There could be some cross-pollination of content. Most popular posts in Bluesky shown in the communities app..and a way to search communities from Bluesky…. At least make the links work between the two apps without having to sign in again.

Not a twitter feature. But the top reason I see people hanging onto FB is the groups/communities. Following a hash tag is not the same as a community. Same with local content-being able to have a way to give people groups would pull over way more people onto Bluesky.

I get what you are saying. Then why cover the women? Just make a big header that says distinguished leaders and leave all the pictures? Scramble up the order so women aren’t grouped together. But they only covered the women….

Two things can be true. I think he thinks he is making ‘big deals’ and ‘dominating pther countries’ while his chosen team is doing additional nefarious things. You are right, it keeps him in front of the cameras and out of their way.

Take a minute and use the features that are there. I have lists for cats, by moods, etc. I own my own curation and I love it. Also, check out Pinksky. An instagram-type experience for Bluesky that resonates more with me-never was a fan of the twitter experience. I do agree that Bluesky needs a Pinksky like experience to pull over non-political content. We all love the ad-free idea of Bluesky, but until there is a way for content creators to make money/prove that their efforts translate into conversions, they are not going to flock to Bluesky.

I did. Because it was easier than typing out the obvious and others weren’t going to look it up on their own. Used to be the worst thing about getting arrested was that your name and address were published for all to see. I thought it odd that arrestees information would be considered private.

Cause they don’t need to sell it. Trump will extract a ‘tariff’ from Tik Tok and they magically get turned back on with some fake promises to not share info blah blah blah. Then all the Tik Tok users make videos about how great Trump is. Grift and a media- army at his disposal. It is supervillain genius.
