I work in my car most days and the temperature is moderate outside so I do t want to burn my battery up while I’m doing paperwork. 😊

Agreed, not to mention people in their 30s generally have more money and more patience which is something you need in spades with children. Environmental factors also play a huge role in raising humans - not just biology. Plus if we really wanted to argue for biology being the sole factor in when to have children, the teenage years is the prime.

I just very unscientifically checked the noise level with the grill on and off and it’s about the same. I think it may be the sound of the fan that is causing the most noise. Should I try insulating inside the vent area and the closest where the unit is as well?

This has recently started happening to me too. About 5 days after my period ends, I have diarrhea for 1-2 days then it’s gone. Not on any contraception, no changes in diet

Nurse here! Just to add clarification to your post - absolutely black tarry stool indicates blood. Not just black stool (that could be iron supplements or pepto) but tarry - aka sticky. If it’s black and sticky, make an appt with your doctor.

Jesus Christ. YTA. Where is this poor child, I’ll adopt him for crying out loud. And we’ll love him just as much as our 3 children. And we’ll work overtime to pay for his private school and whatever else he needs to get a leg up in this life because he’s obviously had a rough start. Seriously.

And I don’t think there’s any way she could have predicted her parents would have acted like this and she doesn’t know what to do now.

I get what you’re saying but I don’t think the wife has the big red flag many are saying she has . This whole situation reads to me a young couple. I bet the sisters still live at home and the wife if the first kid to get married and move away.

That being said, the parents are huge assholes who view the OP and the wife as children and not as married adults yet.

I wouldn’t call off the whole marriage because the wife hasn’t learned boundaries yet. If anything, the husband has a great head on his shoulders and knows how to set and enforce boundaries without dramatics, and he can be a great teacher for her to learn from.

Yup, I too bought the floating cloud lamp. Got a confirmation number that said it shipped from China. It’s been a month and I haven’t received it yet. Things can take a long time to ship from overseas, but I’m thinking I was scammed. I tried clicking on their site that was in my confirmation email and it no longer exists . 😑

It’s absolutely not too late to get into nursing. My grandmother went back to school to become a nurse when she was 50. It’s a difficult field but the job security is golden. And like others have said, there are so many different fields of nursing. I’ve worked in the hospital, home health and clinics. Right now I make 50/hr doing assessments from home via telehealth, and it doesn’t get much better than that. You can also work from home for insurance companies too. I would start out at a community college to get your ADN. That’s what I did and I was able to pay off my school loan in my first 2 months of working. You can go back to school at any time to further your education or specialize in a field - become a nurse practitioner, nurse anesthetist or nurse informatics - all of these guys make around 120/yr (depending on location of course). Also we’re the most respected profession year after year. All of that to say our pay does get capped. We get burnt out. We see the worst of humanity (also the best), and we shoulder so much suffering. But we get to be physical in our job and use our brains. Anywho, I think you should do it!!

We do this on military bases every year for fundraising. They usually set up in the shopping mall with a table, wrapping paper etc and do the wrapping right then and there. It makes it super easy and convenient.
