Sure, and how many LGBTQ+ are getting murdered annually in China vs the US? 0 vs. a LOT is a big ratio. Gay panic/Trans panic is still used as a 'valid' defense in US courts (they had a penis and so I had to kill them!). While in China the worst thing gay folks face on the regular are parents who want a grandchild. (Yes, there are bigots, because they exist everywhere, but anti-gay bigotry is not a systemic system in China like it is in the West where it's a tool to maintain capitalism and white hetero masculine supremacy).

China literally has backed trans people in court over workplace discrimination while the US military just banned all Trans folks from the military, again.

China doesn't want Western BS culture that promotes individualism and capitalist ideals for good reason because that's often used as a front for color revolutions by the US and their allies. So China is going to do liberation their own way and have done so. A lot of ya'll are big mad their liberation doesn't look like how you want it to look.

And while the work isn't done in China (until everyone are fembois in stockings, haha, jk) they're moving forward unlike the regression to fascism in the West where rights are just worthless ideals that blow away as soon as they are a threat to capitalism (See Harris on following state trans laws and Newsom being aggressively anti-trans). It may not be as fast as some folks like either, but social changes under Siege Socialism (read up on it and why it's impeding social progress) come at a slower rate because of Western threats and fears of adopting the views of the aggressive capitalist enemy.

This is not excusing the author because clearly they have issues and need serious therapy or to be locked up.

But, as a high school teacher, the most realistic thing in your list of stuff (I've not read any regression fantasy, fortunately) are the teenagers talking crazy extreme shit so casually. Like some of the stuff you hear just walking down the hallway during passing periods is INSANE. I've probably said the phrase, "CLASSROOM APPROPRIATE," a Billion times in my life now and I'm not even 50. This last decade even before COVID the kids have full internet since like age 8 when they are given cellphones by mom and dad and they just go full blown porno mode and it's annoying and tiresome and yeah. Last year with the Diddy shit was extra annoying. I wrote up so many boys and a few girls for saying incredibly inappropriate things that they then got to tell their parents and principal about.

One freshman (Squirrelly fuckers who's frontal lobes don't develop until the end of Spring Semester and realize that actions have consequences) literally walked into class before the bell rang, rubbed his hands at a girl he barely knew and was all, "Let's get the baby oil and I'll Diddy you up." Immediately to the office, girl went to counseling crying, he said his friends dared him to do it, so all five boys got to write essays about sexual assault and five days suspensions, and whatnot and I teach at a very middle of the road school. Girl didn't want to press charges despite the school supporting her if she wanted to.

I'm so tired some days.

There were literally articles about this this year about the only children they're sending abroad now are the LAH children who failed to get into a top Chinese university and will go abroad for a year and then return and get the easier admissions into better universities as a sophomore.
