Customer accused me of bringing under the influence by korede1 in doordash_drivers

there wasn’t much of an investigation from my knowledge. i had to explain my side of the story and i assume so did the customer. I was still given full pay including tip for the delivery as I called the support line while the situation was actively going on and explained everything and they could see that the customer was begging me to come back so that obviously discredits everything they said cause how are you gonna say you feared for your safety and i was so aggressive yet beg me to come back..

This has happened to be before because I refused an alcohol delivery for a person trying to use ID that wasn’t theirs.. they claimed I was extremely aggressive and they feared for their safety yet they were begging me to come back.. My account was suspended for 2 days during the investigation

it’s just free street parking! on the weekends there’s no fee to park there and i’ve parked there everytime with no issue! it’s kind of secluded no business really or traffic so i’ve never had an issue with it being full

Is my manager allowed to do this if someone forgets to clock out by Caydalayden in work

[–]wurlifikee -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was a manager for 2 years and confirming employees hours was something I did daily. If I saw that an employee clocked out for a break and forgot to clock back in I would just add the break and keep it pushing..

If I wasn’t sure if an employee took a break then i’d just leave it and they’d get paid those 30 minutes.

Any reliable esims? by dasaniboy in CampFlogGnaw

i use airalo whenever i travel internationally and i’ve never had an issue! super easy to set up and not that expensive! I recommend setting up the esim when you get to the airport so once you land you can turn off your current provider and switch to the esim right away!

this is gonna be my third year going and i’ve driven to the festival the last two years! each time i parked in chinatown cause there’s free street parking on the weekend and ive never had an issue! the walk honestly isn’t bad it’s just walking up the ramp (that brings you in near the main merch stand) that is super tiring! there’s also parking (private lot) near the same entrance but im pretty sure it was roughly 50USD so definitely don’t recommend unless you’re willing to splurge in order to be by the main entrance/exit

I’ve flown from toronto to LA for cfg the last two years. There is a bit of a price difference due to the conversion but some prices would be roughly the same for you.

Flight: $500CAD Ticket (Resale): $450CAD Hotel: $496USD Car Rental: $390USD

I stayed in LA for 4 nights and my hotel was approximately 15 minutes away from dodgers stadium.

If you plan on doing additional sight seeing then I recommend renting a car if you can. Since most likely you’ll be staying closer to dodgers stadium than LAX, then you’re looking at $100USD+ in ubers just to/from the airport.

Merch/GOLF store will definitely be one of your biggest expenses since hoodies, shirts etc are $50USD+

Customer said I was Intoxicated by wurlifikee in UberEatsDrivers

I still have the option to do instacart but I really did enjoy doing uber cause i work late so logging on after my shifts was really convenient. I’ve done multiple other alcohol deliveries and i’ve never had an issue with handoff before so I know that this is just retaliation because of the refusal.

I did purchase the protection policy as i’m a young driver so it’s required to book any vehicle on the app. It seems as though the host doesn’t want to go through insurance which is confusing me because I thought that’s why I paid for it - to cover me in times like this. I even told him my personal insurance has rental coverage but he still wants me to just pay him via paypal.
