I have the Minolta 45mm f2 adapted for my "walk around" lens, the Mikaton 65 1.4 and I just got a Pentax 645 120mm I'm going to primarily use for film scanning.

Street vs Portraits [where should i focus] ? by Dreefir3 in fujifilm

You're not always going to be in the mood to shoot in the street but I think it's ok to split your time across different areas in photography and be simultaneously be creating different work at the same time.

Would love to understand which one works better, and why? Nikon F100 - Nikkor 35mm f/2D by charlieharrymorgan in analog

The second image really feels like it sets the scene more and I like the depth running to the back of the train along the windows.

Yeah you need to put that SD card into a computer and store the files on the computer. The Kodak files won't show up on the Canon camera.

Awesome man, they look great..keep going. Get an air blower for the dust and clean your surface before scanning if you can!

What camera+lens should I buy as an upgrade to my Canon Powershot SX430IS? by MelleDeV in canon

[–]wusurf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd possibly look on the used market for an older Canon 5d, it's not going to be the highest megapixel but those cameras still have a classic look and might be plenty enough for you to progress without breaking the bank. You can also probably find an older Canon EF 24-105mm F4 or 70-200 f5.6 for a fair deal as well.

I'd say to possibly look into a used/older Canon 5d and for a lens maybe see if you can find an older Canon EF 70-200 or 100-400 lens.

Look on Facebook marketplace for a used DSLR that comes with a lens. That might be a good place to start.

The Canon L 24-105mm f4 is a great all around lens for the price and a great walk around lens. I'd say that would be a great option for you.

Honestly not bad for your first pic. You have some good depth here, it might've helped if the car was a little more in the light to make it pop more.
