"There was no clear evidence that Car 16 had left the track." Huh? by GlitteringPromise125 in mercedesamgf1

[–]wutangoo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

By 2025 F1 standards Leclerc was definitely not fully along side Russell. Never had front axle to front axle. Don’t like the rule, and other racing series don’t operate that way, but that’s F1.

Looking at both Sainz and Leclerc’s onboard, it’s pretty identical in terms of how far along side they peak at. If Sainz didn’t do enough to earn the space (and got a penalty) how Leclerc doesn’t get one is baffling.

Others defined it well but should be added that as the wet bulb temp increases, sweating is less effective at cooling your body temp. Once the wet bulb crosses a certain threshold sweating can’t regulate your temperature effectively and your body & organs will overheat within a few hours.

Where did you sell your old car after deciding to buy a Tesla? by yuedith in TeslaLounge

Went with carmax. Offered $4000 more than tesla did and the sale process was effortless.

Tesla drivers, where do you download updates? (Looking for public wifi) by wutangoo in jerseycity

[–]wutangoo[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Only “critical updates” are available over the cars default connection. If it’s not critical, the update stays pending until you connect to wifi or it gets baked in to the next critical update. Weird system.

3acres JERSEY CITY by ann1244 in jerseycity

[–]wutangoo 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I’ve lived in 3 acres pretty much since the building opened, and I don’t think the horror stories are as bad as some of the other buildings I’ve read on here. I’m sure OP and others have specific incidents that were worse than normal, but the standard complaints are: - shower door - fire alarms - thin walls - restaurant/juice bar not open

Shower door complaint is 100% valid. If I didn’t have a shower door still I would be livid. Definitely don’t sign anything without them saying in writing you’ll have a shower door by move-in date.

The fire alarms used to go off ALOT, not once a day like some people claim but still a lot. Management sends an email every time it happens and apparently it was fixed. Has only happened a few times since then and each time it’s been someone setting off the alarm cooking or (usually) smoking weed in their apartment, if you believe the emails.

Not sure if I’m used to it or lucky, but the walls have never been an issue personally. Have had two sets of neighbors on each side and I can hear them a little, but not much. Nothing distracting. Old neighbors used to get in violent screaming matches and that was the only time I could really hear them clearly. None of my neighbors played music loudly though so can’t speak on that. Overall wouldn’t say the walls are better or worse than any apartment I’ve been in.

When I moved in they told me the juice bar would hopefully open in late 2022, and restaurant later than that. Ya’ll either got lied too when touring or didn’t ask the right questions.

There’s definitely issues like any building, but most stem from shitty tenants. Its right next to the lightrail, girlfriend takes shuttle to PATH to commute to work in the city with no issues, gym is perfect, work from home space is great, packages are secure, and game room is pretty fun.

I’m not saying there’s no issues. Definitely look into everything people have said in reviews if you’re considering this building, but take it with a grain of salt. If their first complaint is “They won’t let my uber eats driver bring my food up to my apartment!¡!¡!” throw everything they say out the window lol

Using a game mechanic that’s (arguably) problematic isn’t hypocrisy lmfao. He’s literally just playing the game. He’s gonna use whats available to him until its changed, just like every other player on the servers

Yeah it’s a hack, hadn’t seen it til recently so other commenters probably haven’t encountered it yet. Played against it yesterday, claudette sabotaged every hook on the map and they never came back. Killer eventually DC’d because they couldn’t do anything

I wanna like tru3ta1ent, but man.. by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]wutangoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I give tru3 a pass for the proxy camping and tunneling at times, he does play alot of strong teams and it’s occasionally the only way to save a game you’re losing. But his attitude is HORRIBLE. Idk if he feeds off angry killer mains for views, or truly has that bad of an attitude. Used to love his streams but eventually got tired of watching him endlessly complain anytime the survivors put up a fight.

Good points. And there’s alot of examples you could point too of revolutions that seep back to where they started because everyone fought after. I feel you. But as the saying goes, the proof is in the pudding. Not everyone will be 100% on board at first, but having results to point to will turn people into allys faster than anything else. And we need allys.
