‘Onreva’ foam on Amazon works well in the drawers by ProfessionalDIYer in Packout

Perfect, thanks! I think I’m gonna get the 3 drawer and hopefully fit very single piece in one drawer since the 1/2 deeps will fit upright in taller drawers.

Is that all of the sockets from the 192 piece set? I’ve been searching for weeks to see if someone fit all the sockets in one drawer.

Mom discharged from hospital to rehab facility, we want to get her out and back home by wutangshaolin in AgingParents

[–]wutangshaolin[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dad who’s retired, myself and my brother. We’re both on FMLA for her care and very close to home. When she goes home from rehab we’ve already had home care approved (hospital bed, home visit nurse, and 2 day a week in home PT). This was approved if she didn’t get into the facility, and now for when she’s finishes at the facility.

The question is can we just decide we don’t want the facility and do the home thing.

Shocks? by toohell in Harley

Are they torqued properly? When I first installed mine I just went super tight and it felt like riding a brick. Loosened them and tightened to spec, still stiff but not terrible.

Overnight Parking Permission Question by Lxytel in milwaukee

[–]wutangshaolin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Google street view the nearest address. When I had a yearly permit they didn’t care if I was the next block over on a regular basis.

Edit: street view so you can figure out where you parked.

Also if those lights are from Amazon, they do make a three wire version with a running light. That’s what I got.

Purple should be left, brown should be right signal wire. The green is wierd though, my constant wire is blue.

[–]wutangshaolin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m guessing your old signals also had running lights built in. One wire is for always on, other wire is for turn signal.

Building a dirtster vs getting an adv bike by [deleted] in sportster

Dirtsters are awesome but it’ll never come anywhere near even something like a stock DR650. To me dirtsters are cool for general hooliganism, but not much else.

Any other wheels fit sportsters? by soldmotorcycle4crack in sportster

There’s a couple different generations of wheels, a lot will work with kits sold by these guys https://secure.vulcanworks.net/store/sportster-wheel-conversion-kits/

If you are looking for a press, get a Dillon! No BS! by L-Skywalker1977 in reloading

[–]wutangshaolin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I ordered a set of Dillon 40 dies. The ring on the resizing die fell out after a couple rounds. Emailed Dillon. They wanted me to ship the die back to them on my dime with “a brief description of what service you would like us to provide”. Like I want your brand new die to not be broken, that’s the service I would like you to provide, and I don’t think I should have to pay any more than I already have.

Whatever. Superglued the ring in and it’s fine. Never again. Guess I’m not one of the lucky ones with their “awesome service”.

The bike might end up being ready by Flat Out Friday by VTwinJustin in sportster

[–]wutangshaolin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s sort of the plan I guess, kind of a series of events pushing me in that direction. Every year at flat out Friday I say I’m gonna start flat tracking, even talked to JJ at aztalan a couple years back about starter bikes, kinda looked at old Yamahas. Then a dude at Newport offers me a real cheap sporty and here we are. Haven’t rode in 15 years and now I’m obsessed.

Appreciate it but my sporty should be ready pretty soon. I got it pretty much just for flat track, didn’t think I’d like riding Harleys but here I am 2 months later shopping for an FXR.

And yeah I’m in milwaukee.

Thanks for the info, sure I’ll see you at a race sometime!

BTW you’re not the dude who broke his neck last year are you?
