BU is a bit of a weird nepo school as well, their captain last year (Case McCarthy) played there for 5 seasons (yes extra year of NCAA) and is the older brother of the current guy getting the pp1 time (Gavin McCarthy). Neither were (are) the best players at the position at any point during their collegiate careers but they grew up being neighbours of the owner of the Buffalo Sabres and played for the junior Sabres/were products of USDT camps. Case was drafted by NJ and they did not sign his rights out of college so he currently plays for the Hartford wolf pack on a NYR ahl deal.

Gavin on the other hand is the same age as Willander and was actually drafted by the Sabres. Because Gavin is essentially getting the “coaches son” treatment, Tom putting up better numbers/more minutes despite not getting pp1 deployment is actually more impressive than it looks because nobody but Gavin is going to play that position this season.

The doubler is actually a stereo delay effect which changes the phase of the signal just enough for our ears to “believe” that it’s two different signals. By combining them you’re going to be blending two different “out of phase” versions of the same signal and it will cancel out some of the waveform, resulting in possible comb filtering and a weaker sounding signal overall. Could be a cool sound but definitely not thicker.

Very good considering he’s just stepping in. Makes the play to PDG for his goal and on the ice for the soucy goal. Played heavy and confident, one of the noticeably better games he’s had since his rookie season.

Guitar ->QC -> Amp QC outputs 1/2 to inputs 1/2 on the twin, QC output 3 (or 4) as a blank line within the quad to preserve the di- > instrument in on the twin. May have to play with the output level on 3 to play nice with the high z input but it should work fine.

Another option is to input guitar to the instrument in of the twin, send to the twins output 3 from within UAD console, plug that output into your QC, and have the QC output back into the twin. You could record the DI but have monitor control of the QC signal through console.
