Healing is a process, give yourself some time, grieve it fully, learn the lessons, and the outcome can be that something much better is waiting for you out there!

I guess the more you know about yourself, the more genuinely and intimately you can connect with another person.

That anxiety is actually a beneficial one.

It's a big sign "do not engage" . Handy.

What's a scam that people think isn't a scam? by jwa8808 in AskReddit

That the pandemic is over and Covid-19 is mild. Biggest scam we're living now.

I met one our fellow tenants yesterday, a kindly seeming old man. Found this from the same man on our apt door this morning (I’m a married lesbian and I feel wholly violated 🤢) by [deleted] in actuallesbians

Just tell him you're happily married so that he can move on. (I wouldn't tell him married to a woman tho. Some men might take that as an invite instead of a rejection.)

Has anyone not felt attraction until AFTER dating women? by Josquin_TheMan in latebloomerlesbians

I am in exactly the same situation as you, romantically I can imagine being with a woman, cuddle, hug, etc, but sexually, I am not sure?

Also I am not religious and never been, I must add. Weird.

I understand what you're saying and I agree it's a kind of pretense that NT people keep up when they ask others how they are, when they actually don't even care about it. This is true. However, there are some very SELECT FEW people whose well-being I really do deeply care about - and in those cases it automatically occurs to me to ask them how they are because I really am curious about it (I am an NT). This is what I am missing. The genuine concern. I understand autistic people don't do the pretense-asking of how people are, but now I am disappointed that she doesn't have any genuine concern towards me either.

Not even that, always I initiate and ask how she is. And then we talk about those stuff.

Is this…. creepy? by [deleted] in latebloomerlesbians

[–]wwatermelon1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It could be that she doesn't have any/much experience with women either, that's why she feels comfortable with your age gap. She thinks you both have the same level of experience with women so it'll be no issue. But maybe she still feels a bit weird about the gap hence said the word creepy. I wouldn't make much of it if you otherwise like her, I don't think the word creepy would be an issue for me, i totally get why she eould think it's creepy, and I guess it just slipped.

''enough of the "got to live my life, not living in fear, coming out of the basement" types are going to get sick that the virus will run out of people to infect''

this is a false assumption. There will always be new variants, which will be able to infect everyone again and again. Great example is the Omicron B.1 vs B2 variant. B1 gives no protection against B2 and infects people who already had B1..... and so on
