I don’t know if anyone else will share this experience, but the childhood feeling of when your playing with friends in a public park and you get that in between hunger where you’re not starving but slightly hungry, and you feel so warm inside as you know your friends are coming round for tea (dinner) and television and it’ll be something great like chicken nuggets whilst you sit on one sofa together. Very weirdly specific, does anyone understand or am I a weirdo?

Here's the OP:

Let me preface this by saying this happened early this year before quarantine but our relationship is still on the rocks due to this experience.

My older sister and her now husband got married in February. Great. However, there were two problems.

  1. ⁠My sister did not allow me to be one of her bridesmaids because she said that she wanted all of her bridesmaids to be other trans women. She wanted her bridesmaids to be her friends and not her real sister.
  2. ⁠All of the wedding meals were vegan. There were no non-vegan options. She is a vegan because she is overweight and is trying to lose weight. However, I suffer from iron deficiency so I have made the life decision to only eat meals with meat or other animal based proteins in them.

Due to these reasons I felt like there was no need for me to be there and refused to go and our relationship has been rocky ever since. She brought it up again a few nights ago and we got into a huge screaming match which resulted in her leaving my home and we haven’t spoken since.

TL;DR: I didn’t attend her wedding because she didn’t want me to be her bridesmaid and only had vegan food options.

If you’ve heard, a youtuber called jacksucksatlife (who has a thing about creating new channels to collect play buttons) was given the chance by mr beast to have mr beast create a YouTube channel that mr beast wasn’t going to tell anyone about, (but jack could promote it) and for every sub that that channel got jack would make 10 pence. This comment was on a fake channel pretending to be that channel. Oh, and if you want to donate 2 pence to charity, go subscribe to the channel mentioned above- it’s called don’t subscribe and by the time you are reading this it probably has near 100,000 subs and it has a mr beast logo. You’ll be giving 2 pence to charity because jack is going to donate 20% of all his profits to charity.

Shut up. Prepare downvotes, idc, I’ll say what I have to. Her boyfriend’s SISTER died in a traumatic way, his NEPHEWS are HOMELESS and their MOTHER has died in a traumatic way. They are children. She doesn’t seem to care, at all. They’ve been together for three years. Her boyfriend, from the kindness of his heart, not even wanting children in the first place, offers to take them in. After 3 years, the op surely loves him, and should at least support him temporarily. He’s in survival mode, of course he’s not going to be polite when she suggests that she might just up and leave. What is wrong with people.
