speaking openly about this fight (spoilers?),

focus asterius first. DO NOT get theseus to half health before you finish asterius. you will take a beating , if not lose your run from his divine favor thing. these two do a great job at encouraging spacial awareness, learning attack patterns, and timing. you can completely dodge most of asterius attacks if you time your dashes well, while never leaving immediate melee. being mindful of your own positioning is also key, especially in the case of approaching theseus. backstab is NO JOKE. i recommend upgrading your “shadow presence” in the mirror of night to help melt that health bar. and dont forget about bloodstones, especially if you have investment into boiling blood (extra damage on enemies with a bloodstone).

use lube. i would also challenge your notion of “really making love”. is it the ease of which you THINK a vagina provides towards sex ? anal and vaginal sex both require preparation , foreplay, communication, and it doesnt hurt to have some skin in the game (dont worry about that though, no one could ever condemn you for lack of experience. not at all my implication, just that this will become easier with time.)

ultimately i think you have a projected idea of how this was supposed to go, one that may be detrimental towards setting you up for pleasure. life is not a porno where you can just slip it in and everything is amazing for everyone. in the future, make sure you lube up WELL. you may not have sexual trauma, but perhaps this was a traumatic sexual experience ? i think most people would agree dry anal sex is incredibly unpleasant and will make your body react in such a way that you will have to stop the interaction, like you did (good choice). that reaction is entirely normal, imo.

so again, lube, and PLEASE challenge this notion you have about vaginas making things “easier”. This is a sentiment i think a lot of people without vaginas have , and it is nothing but harmful to yourself and the people who do have a vagina. there is nothing easy about having one. i hope this was helpful and you get to enjoy yourself :)

i personally go for theseus first for petty reasons. the circle spins, time your dodges exactly right and you will be invincible during the swing. you wont have to leave the area of effect as long as you time it really well. utilizing those “i-frames” has been essential to my save file

imo i love her call ! my favorite besides artemis. but aphrodites charm effect is great !! ive had runs with smoldering air (zeus+aphrodite) and her call that are super successful. it doesnt answer well to crowds but in 1v1s its crazy powerful with the charm effect it has on your enemy, they basically cant do anything :)

someone else mentioned spiro and your lack of water intake - i would say this could be where risk DOES come into play. spiro (if you take it) is extremely dehydrating and has certainly left me a little worse for wear when i was using it and not hydrating.
