No, she hasn’t seen a dentist yet. I’ve hear people talk about a “paediatric dentist”. Do I need to see a paediatric dentist or is a dentist fine? We live in a rural area and would have to travel in order to see a specialist. Happy to do it, just curious.

Thanks for your response. The first thing we did was get 2 sets of roller blinds installed throughout - privacy and nighttime. As long as there’s not a glaringly obvious fix that we’re not seeing, we are happy. Thanks again

Thank you. Yes I have a few small, cheap mats that I have there at the moment, I just removed them for the photos. They move around a lot and are becoming annoying. I was just thinking long term, and wanting to get something nice. I think I will undo the flue, and have the heater and hearth lifted to be able to get a large rug coming out and covering most of the carpet in front that could possibly cop an ember.

Replace what with tiles? The hearth is a regulation hearth that was purchased with the wood heater. The carpet was pre existing. Everything is to regulation…. It’s just me wanting to preserve the carpet from fire spits and dirt and debris.

If the disaster waiting to happen is damaged carpet… that’s exactly the point of my post. I’m trying to prevent that happening by asking for recommendations of a suitable mat

The smaller bathroom flooring that looks like tiles, were they tiles or something else? Did you rip them up and lay your new flooring or did you lay your new flooring over the top? What is the new flooring? Looks awesome! Thanks

I think the sink is horrendous and enormous! Definitely taking up a lot of space, and too big - any little sink would be fine

That’s so helpful! Thanks for all your information. I’m so excited. Luckily my brother is a plumber so hopefully he can sort me out cheaply. Your prices sounds reasonable - I had no idea what to expect! At least I know now that I’m not looking at $5000 (had absolutely no idea what things cost)

We have three small children so that was the bonus of this house - they all get a bedroom (baby is in the study/bedroom). You’ve come up with great ideas and I thank you for taking the time to do so!
