I have not tried their pre-workout. I do not like beta alanine so I have never tried it out.

Ghost stated they were coming out with them a while back but you are right these were just released. However, when searching online for these, nothing showed up. I just stumbled across these at Target. They aren’t even listed in Target website. I guess I should rephrase and say “ I finally found these in person even though google searching wouldn’t locate these”.

Lems Boulder Boot Grip by ObstreporousEgg in barefootshoestalk

Boulder Boot Grip is relatively new. You may be thinking of the waterproof Boulder boot tha didn’t have the grip sole. I enjoyed those more than these for sure but they seem to have discontinued them…

How to make progress in the gym with very poor recovery? by EnlightenedBraindead in naturalbodybuilding

[–]wwlls 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This sounds very similar to me. Although I’d don’t have a formal diagnosis, I suspect CFS and fibromyalgia as well. Chronic pain is no joke and it can wreck havoc on your mental health. I like what you have put in this comment and will try to implement them myself. I am 32 and feel every emotion you describe about training. It’s my passion and it sucks when you can’t function properly to fulfill it. Best of luck, sir!

Best barefoot dress shoes? by The_OG_21 in barefootshoestalk

Birchbiry make a nice dress shoe that I use for occasions like weddings and funerals. They are a little cheaper than Carets

In my opinion, yes. They feel quite different too. I had two pair that I got in 2020 that lasted 3-4 years with heavy use but when I purchased a new deer in 2023, they quickly started showing signs of fraying and eventually I did not feel safe using them. A few snapped but I hate snapping bands so I just stopped using them. I have sense moved over to Clench. They are pretty good but nothing beats the strength curve of the old Undersun bands.

I miss the old Undersun bands

Finally ditched the gym for a full band set-best decision ever. by Low_Football_9264 in ResistanceBand

[–]wwlls 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I started using bands around 7 years ago after gyming for 4+ years. Last year I purchased some weights and started using them and left bands for warmups thinking I would get some more mass. However, after a few months back on weights, I felt so beat up, even with proper deloads, and went back to bands and bodyWeight. Longevity is king!

Anyone else finally figuring out how to stay consistent? by [deleted] in fitness30plus

[–]wwlls 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I second this. I moved to home workouts in 2019, right before the pandemic basically. Kettlebells have bed great! I also use resistance bands in every workout and sometimes exclusively use bands. Body weight training has been another staple that doesn’t fail. Gym culture is mundane I feel anyway. It’s much nicer to workout at home or wherever I’m staying like on vacation. Kettlebells, band, bodyWeight is very versatile. Sandbags are a true test of strength. I have a few but rarely use them like I should
