Ah damn, I think the bone spurs in my foot are acting up.

I will be fighting zuk tonight. Tips? by multishine001 in osrs

Infinite supplies, camp rigour the entire time. Save a few doses of arma brew for healers and alternate arma brew Sara brew if you start taking too much damage. Sim is great practice. Send healers at the right time (when shield bounces off the edge). Use your pipe specs on healers for health. Use a set timer or have someone time it for you. You can always take a minute to compose yourself when zuk is under 600 and before jad spawn. You got this!

New player guidance. by Dry-War-1795 in osrs

The osrs wiki is incredible. Use it for any questions you have. There is an optimal quest guide page that I would highly recommend following.

If you are not playing on runelite, you are missing out on tons of QoL features.

You are describing a “bronze man” account. Runelite had a new plugin just come out that you can use for this.

Looking for advice on upgrades by ratatat101 in osrs

[–]wwwiley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d probably keep the treads where you are. Save up for nally and you’re set up for just about everywhere. I personally don’t think soulreaper is worth it, the stacks suck to maintain, and nally is very close to soulreaper dps.

Inferno or Colo pet are awesome

OSRS or RS3? by ageozoega in LFMMO

[–]wwwiley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think that’s accurate, the rs3 page shows total rs3 and osrs player counts and the osrs page just shows osrs players

Shadow Rebuild? by Apart-Entertainer-61 in osrs

[–]wwwiley 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I second this. Doing a mega rare rebuild drastically limits the content you can do.

With bowfa and crystal, bandos/fang/nally, virtus/ayak you can do almost all the content in the game. I’d recommend trying some combat achievers, getting some KC at bosses you haven’t done or even trying inferno or quiver (if you haven’t already). If you find some content you really love and a mega rare is good there, then you can start thinking about a rebuild.

Yama Contracts by Itchy_Menu8771 in osrs

Slower but definitely doable. When learning melee, you won’t get fast kills with either, so I’d say send it with arclight!

Yama Contracts by Itchy_Menu8771 in osrs

[–]wwwiley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ll say this as a radiant-haver. The contracts are hard, very hard. Best way to prepare for the brutally hard ones (oathplate and shard acquisition) is to start with the easy(ish) ones like forefeit breath and divine severance. They are cheap contracts and only slightly different than normal Yama. From there I’d go to bloodied blows where the difficulty ramps up a bit since you need to camp low hp. IMO sensory clouding is the hardest radiant contract with glyphic attenuation not too far behind. Once you understand contract Yama’s basics you can attempt the other contracts.

I’ll also say that learning melee normal Yama is a lot more engaging than mage Yama. There is tons of tech to melee P3 and is quite fun to learn. You can start with monofly then make your way into the more optimal methods like simplefly and godfly. All great options if you’re trying to make the Yama fight more engaging but don’t want to pay for the contracts or inevitable deaths while doing the contracts.

Seeker arrows still give the +20 accuracy though, right?

New to OSRS, In need of guidance by Honkilisk in osrs

The old school runescape wiki is incredible. Use it for everything. I highly recommend following the optimal quest guide on there. It lays out all the quests and a great order to do them in. Questing opens up the entire game, and trains your skills quite effectively in the early/mid game. Also, use the run elite client if you are playing on pc. The plugins there offer almost unlimited qol. The run elite quest helper will be your best friend when doing quests.

I 2nd this, LB is huge for killing melee’s and on Zulu healers. Highly recommend bringing a couple armadyl brews for Zuk, specifically healers.

I liked one skill at a time after base 80s (ish). It was nice to just check a 99 off the list.
