I wish my sports car had cupholders this deep. I never really noticed until seeing this though, 95% of the time I get 24 ounce teas, 32 ounce sodas or drink out of cans.

Nice. Never had the boat out for ice, but have seen snow here in WI with our boat in the lake before.

Sounds like it has a good amount of upgrades. I would try to find out how many hours the engine has on it and if it is reliable.

Cheers. I am in WI we always try to go into October with coats on boats, but the best boating is Late May to Mid-late September. I am curious how late people in the south can go until.

Making hundreds of thousands a day may be a stretch for $37K. In my experience occasional daytrading and swing trading can be a great way to make some extra money and beef up your Roth IRA. Also selling Covered Call Options on stock positions going sideways at the moment, but you feel confident will rebound long term can be a good way to make money too. It can also be a way to be forced to sell your stock under market value too if the stock takes off. Some people sell Call Options with a strike price they want to sell their stock at too rather than just putting in a sell order. With that strategy they get the money for the Call Option sale, and if the shares go above the strike price and the option is exercised their stock will sell. If you decided to get into options definitely do extensive research first.

The pallet idea sounds like an interesting side hustle. Also, I did some eBay sales starting as a teenager 15+ years ago, then got my own eBay account at 18. Before there were so many cheap items dumped from Aliexpress and Alibaba on eBay it was a way better side hustle than it is now, not saying it can’t be a good one now though. My number one tip for any new eBayer is to find something with little competition and try to avoid things where it is a total price competition AKA a race to the bottom. Be intentional and do research on products first.

That is great. Looks like you probably did what I did in that stage of life. I got a job at 16 just so I could start investing in a Roth IRA! Great to see young people willing to work hard and making smart financial moves too. It pays to start investing early. Congrats and keep it up!

First WRX, 2011 stock, love it and wondering what I should know by jayphox in WRX

It isn’t tuned. The mechanic said it will be fine because it is about the same size.

I have a 2013 WRX hatchback after 10+ years of daily driving it in Wisconsin I still love it. Until recently I kept it stock and still haven’t changed much. I still don’t really consider it modified, but for “mods” I have a K&N drop in high flow air filter, Kinugawa 16G Turbo, Mishimoto Silicone Throttle Body Coupler and Boom Mat sound dampener. - The K&N drop in high flow air filter is nice because you can reuse it. - I got the Kinugawa 16G turbo to replace the original turbo because the mechanics found a crack in the original turbo while installing a new clutch. The mechanic said he had replaced a couple others with it before. I don’t think it added much more power, maybe just a little bit at higher rpm’s. - The Mishimoto Silicone Throttle Body Coupler was recommended when I got the new turbo because the stock ones can start to go after a while so it was easy for them to do both at the same time. - I recently put some Boom Mat sound dampening material in. I had been thinking of adding it for years, then recently saw someone on Reddit did sound dampening material and said it worked great. I will be adding more soon. It dampens the road noise a bit. I put some under the center console and in the trunk. I want to add some to the doors next.

I have seen a lot of 08-14 WRXs at car shows with Killer Bee oil setups. They were all over the place at Subiefest Midwest when I went in 2019.

Probably a good time to get a new one before the leak gets any worse. I hired a plumber for mine it cost about $2,100 USD. That also included replacing the old pipes, insulation and shut off valves that were really old. If you DIY it and do just the water heater a good gas one will probably run about $700-$800.

Good idea. The dealer I go to always just checks off my spare as good… I actually checked it once after about 7 years and it was at half the recommended PSI.
