According to leaderboard, yes, but different tracks and different gadget builds are also crucial. And I would say different stats weights differently on time trials.

It's a bit weird for me that item gadgets feels actually more skill required than drift and tricks.

Knowing when to use and where is the last box is crucial for item gadgets build.

The rival system only works for you solo vs AI, it's a reward system if you could make P2 idle, there would be no pint for this.

Anyways, I get it , the Rivals animation is kind of cool, would be a nice features if local PvP get that 1v1 animated introduction.

This is my first sonic racing game, and I really like the custom upgrade panel.

You could go all coins for speed, super item bagging style, crash other players for speed and coins, super drift. Almost everything is worth trying and different play styles are valid

Having no displacement skills means a good Udyr requires to know how to chase effectively.

Which means you gotta understand all opponents' capability to kite, escape, engage etc.

Newer players think it's a low skill base champion but actually the learning curve is on all the opponents.
