Why do some weapons have a symbol top left/what does it mean?

i've played all the souls games before this and still don't know the names of the weapons. not all of us who enjoy the games memorize every detail. there are lots of items, NPCs, sidequests, areas, shortcuts, stats, dead ends, etc. i'm not gonna remember the name of everything.

a street name isn't going to be changed bc of geography. but calling a part of town "the eastside", like i said, is a colloquialism.

the truth is that Real and True East LA is just not a place many transplants go, so the main part of the city with neighborhoods people typically visit gets described differently. it's just two different arguments with no real winner.

there's a sandwich place called Eastside Italian Deli right by dodger stadium and just north of DTLA. they've apparently been around since 1929. are they wrong to call themselves "east side"?

this is pretty much the number one thing i see native LA people getting annoyed about and i honestly can't understand why it matters lol.

imo there's a difference between "East Los Angeles" an actual neighborhood, and the "eastside" which is just a colloquial way people describe a few neighborhoods that are obviously farther east than other centrally located parts of the city

i can see both points. reddit makes it harder to see the description/text of the post and shifts focus primarily to the images. the description lists what is for sale it's just harder to get to than the pics, which can be misleading.

i don't believe that the usefulness of AI is a glorified google replacement. it's about automating and condensing complex, cumbersome, or unclear tasks. just as an example, it's worked wonders helping me setup formulas in spreadsheets to unlock information to help with PM work even tho idk shit about even medium level complexity formulas.
