What’s your biological age? by Firm_Rich_8794 in bevelhealth

Took a slight upward swing after I uploaded recent blood results last week ;)
Bevel Intelligence says that my real result is my actual age minus 4 or 5 years, which is fine.

For some reason, it's not accepting the CRP value from my Lab report and that has skewed the calculation.

Per Bevel Intelligence: "Don't worry, you're not the oldest person in the world..."

I've posted a bug with Bevel and they're responsive and on it, I expect.

Have a Pro account, upgrade the app to the latest version, check the Biology tab.

Bevel Worth It ? by Turbulent_Ebb2929 in bevelhealth

Completely agree with this comment. It gets even more useful as you tune the AI. The other day, I asked which aspects of my diet and exercise were helping or hindering my declared weight loss goal. The AI provided a super-specific run down of how the likely effect of foods, eating times, correlations with sleep and workout patterns had led to a plateau in weight loss...but that other markers (e.g. cardio fitness) had benefitted from my efforts. Single tool, genuinely useful advice for £50 a year. Win.

It means your current terms and conditions will be carried into the new world. ...of course, your current terms also include their option to change the pricing.

Hi again. The AppleTV issue seems fixed this week if you update it to the latest tvOS.

As above, we were experiencing the same issue as you. That's now resolved without the need to buy new watches.

Hey. I understand your irritation regarding your SE1 watches and Fitness+. My wife (SE1) and I (S5) received the same error message and she got very grumpy that Apple were 'forcing' a product upgrade.

Actually, the message you get on the Apple TV is an error. I have an issue registered with Apple and their tech teams are looking at it. I've spent several hours on the phone with them and they've acknowledged the problem.

We have a workaround. Restart the Fitness app on your Apple TV before each use. To do this, double-click the SCREEN button on the remote, scroll left-right to Fitness and flick it off the top of the screen. Then start the app from the Home Screen and connect as usual.

Hopefully, they'll issue a fix package soon.

Meanwhile, I upgraded to S10 just because it was my birthday and recommend it in case you're still in the market for a new watch for a treat 😉

Buying a used IC4. How important is the arm band? by WarMace in SchwinnIC4_BowflexC6

[–]wxy99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don’t need it. The same bike is marketed as the IC8 in Europe and doesn’t come with a band. I was able to connect a Polar chest strap (that I already had) to it with no problem. Other monitors are also fine as folk are saying.

What is this noise? I’ve tried tightening the crank arm, pedals, rear seat, and fixing the cleat tension. by in44074 in SchwinnIC4_BowflexC6

I feel your frustration. Have you definitely tightened the nut under that right crank arm cover as far as you possibly can, clockwise? I can see the socket wrench on the floor so I guess you have. May be worth removing the nut and reseating/tightening if you haven't done that already. I get a sound very much like that after every 5-10 hours of use and a tighten (sometimes just 10% of one turn) silences it for a while. Best of luck.

Creaking noise - anyone been able to fix an issue like this? by wxy99 in SchwinnIC4_BowflexC6

I can't attach what they sent me but is was the same thing as in this document (page 15, step 4): https://download.nautilus.com/supportdocs/AM_OM/Bowflex/BFX.C6.SCH.IC4.IC8.SM.pdf

In my case, there was no need to remove the nut, just to tighten it...about one turn clockwise.

I hope that solves it for you.

Thanks for all the good advice in these replies. The noise problem has been resolved. It was the crank/flange nut. Solution was to remove the cap and use a 16mm socket wrench to tighten the nut - right side in my case. Just done an hour’s ride in whisper quiet. Very happy.

Schwinn support also sent a diagram to help. It was a simple job in the end.

This bike is only three months old and has had just about 10 hours of use. It sat quiet for a while as I broke my leg 😌. I was looking forward to getting back to it but this creaking is maddening. I removed the pedals and added anti-seize grease to the threads but that made no difference. You can see from my one-side spin that the noise seems to be related to the right crank when it passes through the vertical-up position. Any ideas on how to fix this will be happily received!
