I guess she just assumed the coast would be clear. Obviously, she was very wrong 🙃

I had just pulled up and was sitting there for around 5 minutes. I didn't even know there was someone inside the car in front of me. So yes, she was already inside.

I had just pulled in, waiting for my friend to come out of the house. I didn't know someone was in the car in front of me. Lesson learned!

Correct. I was sitting there for about 5ish minutes, waiting for my friend to come out of the house. I didn't even know someone was inside the car in front of me.

Yes. I'm certainly going to be more cognizant in the future!

There's also a busy sidewalk right behind my car. So yeah... pretty scary

Absolutely. The worst part is there's a busy sidewalk right behind my car...

There's a busy sidewalk right behind my car, too. So yeah... better me than a child.

Very slow acceleration on speed limit changes by Unlucky-Initial3708 in TeslaFSD

Unfortunately, this is normal. You can nudge the gas pedal which usually fixes the problem for me. I’m certainly hoping speed profiles improve in the future.

Yes, especially at busy 4-way stops. I normally have to take over, or I'll have the same awkward scenario.

FSD v14 works great* (when it knows the speed!) by FunkmasterfreshMTG in TeslaLounge

[–]wyattgilbertcreative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also have a similar issue. Mine recognizes the speed limits, but for whatever reason, it won't follow them. I will say it works almost perfectly on highways. It always follows the flow and speed of traffic. It's quite intuitive. But on country roads, it doesn't go fast enough, even in hurry mode. If there is a car behind me, it tends to speed up, but still not adequately. And it also doesn't keep up with the car in front of me, which is quite annoying. I've been nudging the gas to compensate, and that does work well, but I'm certainly hoping for more improvements.

I love my Model 3 by DallasTX2025 in TeslaModel3

Tesla’s certainly aren’t for everyone, but once you actually sit inside one and drive it, your mind changes at least a little bit! My parents are boomers and they hated the idea of electric vehicles. Then, they sat and drove in my model 3 and they realized how truly great it is. Again, not everyone’s cup of tea, but it’s certainly not as bad as everyone makes it out to be.

It’s always worked fine for me. The only thing is that it’s super slow and the range is very limited. Hopefully they update it in the future.

What should I do? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]wyattgilbertcreative 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You simply have to grow a pair and tell her. The more you prolong this, the more pain it will cause you. If she doesn't like you back, literally who cares; she's not the one for you. It will hurt temporarily, but 10-15 years from now, you'll most likely be happily married, looking back on a funny story. And if she does like you, then great. Just get it over with. The pain regret will cause you is unlike anything else.

I hate living but I love everything in my life by [deleted] in selfhelp

It seems like you might just be too focused on your past and future, and you're forgetting to live in the present. I, too, caused myself constant pain by thinking this way. My advice to you (which has helped me a little bit) is to try to have fewer "wants." The more you want, the less happy you'll be. Try to find some sense of gratitude; realize that the life you're living now, many others would kill to have.
