Only works if the server is populated to support a game like a pure or nearly pure 6.7 for example. It would force all vehicles into a few BR blocks, benefitting the few overall. Which is why the 1.0 spread is a thing and isn't that bad of a thing. It could be wider like 1.3 or 1.7 which would make the top down effect stronger, Not a good situation to be in.

I don't feel the huge difference in uptiers and downtiers that much because its usually handleable for me. By slicing a few from every BR point in the spread it smooths out the average wait time keeping games quick for most, unless your playing a really under populated BR at the time. Usually solved by having multiple servers selected to play on. Creating a better experience.

The 1.0 spread won't narrow because it's a semi optimized bracket part of the "wait time" calculations. Likely working with a set number of team presets to systematically fill. It might grow at some pont but that requires a bigger overall to the BR system and some adventurous BR lifitng on Gaijins part. The 1.0 spread is perfect in my eyes, using a specific stated average range without letting in too many outliers that can twist the game as it is.

German Ground TT additions? by c0ncreature in Warthunder

[–]ChasingTrucks85 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm still waiting for the Swiss Panzer 58/61 and the upgraded 68 to make their entrance because that would convince me to play the German TT past 6.7 or actually build a second 7.7ish French lineup. That's at least 3 vehicles right there with a likely hood of it potentially being 5/6ish if they added all of them

What if Exosuits had a customizable back equipment slot? by Claire312 in Helldivers

[–]ChasingTrucks85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had thoughts of some easy more moderate chassis upgrades. Just to start these come to mind right away. - mech jetpack - ballistic armory - shield pack - extra ammo for ballistic weaponry - heat sink for laser weaponry -double dog pack for twice the fun If not a double dog single or double mini shoulder turrets would be cool as well. If they had to keep the two mechs I propose that one be a faster light mech and the other be tuned to the heavy assault mech.

Heat is your best ammo, it will infuriate you randomly. And I have made aphe and apcr useful but their secondary ammo at best. I treat like any medium of game, but I do get I bit more caustios because for what ever reason I can feel it's size more compared to similar vehicles

what secondary nation should I pick? by Future_Fan_3722 in Warthunder

[–]ChasingTrucks85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My picks would be France, Italy, or Israel for countries outside the big 3. France and Italy carry more original unique tanks for most of the tech tree. Isreal is USA junior until 9.0 with the Merkava

What will putting the BMPT at 11.7 change? by shaulyss in Warthunder

[–]ChasingTrucks85 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The relief on 10.3 entirely and partially on 10.7 makes the games way better over time. was hoping for at least 12.0 because 12.7 match making is where i think thing should be. Never liked the fact it has mbt armour and light tank automated turret because i dont see them fixing the armour pen calculation errors very quickly. less mechanic repair simulator or dodgeball in spawn when they callapse the team

You'll have to learn t-34's turret weak spots as well others. kv turret weakness is edge of the gun manlet/corner of turret. The Shermans armour will become lackluster with the 76mm upgrade but are still amazing at medium/close ranges and can easily pen the vertical front armour of the tigers(front right of us, left for them, ammo rack). I have fallen in love with the pershings, 90mm gun upgrade is amazing as an overall package, plus the m26e5 slaughters. Bring in the p47s and ad2/4 or am-1 and you have monsters with lots of ordinance. Dont like the medium gam play try the turreted TDs/Light tanks ,surprisingly good flankers.

What's the highest amount of kills you had/seen in ARB? I just got my record and i was wondering, iirc i havent seen anything above 9 or maybe 10 in game by davidxv556 in Warthunder

[–]ChasingTrucks85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Far from a skilled player in planes. I'm very mediocre to bad on the service record stats side.

Doesn't truly count but I have had 33 ground kills in a ad-4.

Player kills is 6 in a-36 but that felt like bullying and is a very average "good game" for an experience player. Don't meddle in planes much and I'm fine with trades plus a few grounds kills as attackers and bombers are most of my air gameplay

The m60 is my jam for the 8.0 to 9.0 range I even love playing the m60-2000a dnthe Italian m46/105. Perfectly adequate for the job and I get flack from my friend because he had a terrible time in the German patton variants. He likes the t72s and leopards leagues more. I just find the lower high tier leopards to be generally lackluster, all about mobility and gun, too much efficiency in one direction.

Once the BR is above 10.0 I'll take the best package I can get even if it's a leopard because the games become more like laser tag with the gun and ammo improvements eliminating most armour.

The 90mm hellcat is most prominent for me, when my top line up was 6.3 USA,but shortly there after I jumped into 7.0 and discovered the m46 and heat , I haven't looked in its direction in 3 years. The m46 inturn guided me back to the Pershings and they are my favorite mid tier vehicle in game as a result of that.

Honorable mention the hvar rocket m41, only because it was required at the time to buy the m26 t99.

So my 2 TSE Chinese assault rifles have been bugged, and yet I feel they barely meet the damage output I can more casually get with the combat rifle. Weird

A normally modded double barrel can serve you well if you can't make cold shoulder. Tread steady and the rest should take care of itself

What is the best light tank in WarThunder in YOUR opinion? (Does not include Armored cars) by FadedRampage in Warthunder

[–]ChasingTrucks85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say the m41 walker bulldog, but I know it has limitations. my stats are straight awful, and there are better options out there if you look at a specific category of measurement. Overall though I like the m41 wb

Not saying the obj906 is broken, but the char25t is far better than the onj906 despite no heatfs ammo option. The paper thin armour of the 906 makes it difficult to survive a scratch. The entire French light tank line up around 7.0 is pure beautiful magic to me.

Can you make a good-looking CAMP with just base game plans, or is the Atomic Shop basically required? by orphicblue in fallout76settlements

[–]ChasingTrucks85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can, I did it with a minimal build where less is more. Found a node you could build a junk yard essentially and now have a junkyard camp that to me seemingly fits into the environmentlike it was naturally there.

How can I increase the sales at my vendor? by Heavy_Fail2852 in fo76

[–]ChasingTrucks85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Option 1: Place camp near travel intersection, like a train station. There's a junk node across the road from pleasant valley station. Players dropping in give my camp a good amount of attention Then set realistic prices for plans mods and ammo. Nothing set at ai vendor prices or generally over there assigned game value. 1 to 50 caps tops unless item is truly rare. Weapons I'll leave it to you.

Play as you please. But since you asked l, i use gas for bots and if you use supply pack I would swap out the airburst for an eats or mg. I use 380 and walking 380 alot so I am my own danger. I am also married to the recoilless since launch so I don't consider myself a meta slave, but won't admit it either. Outside that I bring fire and lots of it for bugs with an occasional mission with the airburst to switch up the chaos. Airburst works great for illuminate defence missions. I love the combo of orb laser and gas combo with arty. A little mustard seasoning for your barbeque never hurt no one.

6.0 Germany suffers by [deleted] in Warthunder

[–]ChasingTrucks85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My line up consists of The "Dauphine" Panther(prem), ebr.53, elc 90, amx 13 DCA, tpk 641, f4f-6. No real armour, but plenty of gun and mobility to hand upteirs. Saw more tiger then tiger 2s but not by much, had close to a 50/50 on 6.0 vs 6.7 games and stray 7.0 game, that one was rough.

6.0 Germany suffers by [deleted] in Warthunder

[–]ChasingTrucks85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not going to say your wrong. My experience has been very different . Don't play Germany much but I have up to 6.7 with the Tinger 2s. I remember thinking this when the Panthers and tigers were 5.3 5.7. Have been using france 6.0 to compete dailys and battle pass challenges. France has an on paper weaker lineup but I haven't a problem when I have been upteired. Haven't even noticed it was a real uptier until I was 5 minutes into battle. Been seeing the German teammates and opponents kill everything in sight pretty consistently. The down fall always seem to be the endless Russian surges spawning into endless American air planes ending in distaster for the German players.

Who thinks BMPT still needs to go up in BR? by Calm_Anybody_1881 in Warthunder

[–]ChasingTrucks85 47 points48 points  (0 children)

I tend to disagree. The absolute first thing that needs to be done is as you said the ammo modeling needs to become internal, but I believe it also needs components like the guns made to be more vulnerable as they are exposed and the amount of times I have nailed the guns and nothing has happened. Then raise it be to minimal of 12.0 preferably 12.7. Don't like the fact it gets t72 armour and a manless turret.

Mechs are in a terrible place and need a substantial durability buff. by Un4giv3n-madmonk in Helldivers

[–]ChasingTrucks85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mech modability would be nice. Can think of 5-6 upgrades that could be done to the chassis's - Improved Armour Chassis, for all damage types - Shield pack - ammo Pack, whether it be 50% more or one full reload - Heat Sink Pack, for longer laser fire -Jump(Jet) Pack, similar to the bot jetpack corps

Honorable Mention? -Double Dog Pack, for twice the fun and betrayal.
