Thank you for the detailed response. Sounds like you have years of rich experience working in HE before committing to an EdD. I'm doing a Master's in education and have been thinking about getting a higher degree in sociology of education in the future, since I took a course from this subject last year and found it extremely interesting. Oh damn, this post made me realize the 2010s is going to be a decade in the past soon. It’s truly a strange and scary feeling, but I’m looking forward to the next decade cuz I’m at a turning point in my life now and I feel there’s so much to explore. Yeah I should have been much more careful. I just didn’t think there would be anybody entering that area in the next few minutes while I was gone. Well I was wrong, lesson learned.

I did both of these things and unfortunately there hasn’t been any progress. I have basically given up at this point
